Pole Tribe Studio, Gym, Beach Tote Bags

After wanting a bag like this for a little while, I paid the $37.00 and bought this one. Maybe I got what I paid for but after one wash this bag is already messed up. I’m disappointed because the material should have held up way better than it did. Prior to washing I was pleased with this bag.Update- after contacting the seller, I was given the option for a refund or replacement. Considering I liked this bag a lot, I opted for replacement. The seller informed me of wash care. In a nutshell if you plan on washing it, do so by hand.

I bought two neoprene bags. This bag in red and a blue State of Escape bag (Aussie brand $320) that I got on sale at Neiman Marcus. I really like both bags and will be keeping them. I am very familiar with different qualities of neoprene; my family is big into scuba diving. Both have their advantages. Both are machine washable and come with a detachable mini pouch for money/keys and such. The amazon bag is a lesser quality neoprene and therefore much mushier and super slouchy. The snaps also do not have enough "hold" and unsnap very easily. The State of Escape Bag has super hold snaps that you have to physically separate to open (more secure) but the handles are thinner and the drop is much shorter than the amazon bag. I prefer the SOE bag because the material is a bit stiffer and seems a better quality. I will be keeping both because they serve different purposes ( amazon for beach/boat & SOE for handbag) and I love the idea of a large lightweight bag that I throw in the washing machine and it comes out looking brand new.

I am LOVING my new bag! These neoprene bags are big and sturdy, yet at the same time light enough to carry without hurting your shoulder. I saw a woman in the airport with this bag in another color and went online to get one. I love the small clip-on bag inside, which helps keep small things secure. I can't wait to take this on my next trip! In the meantime, I am using for my everyday gym bag. Also, love the metal grommets on the straps for extra sturdiness. Can't wait to get another one in a different color!

UPDATE: It’s now Sept 2020 and lake season is over. It held up awesome!!! I’m able to fit 4 beach towels, phone, Bluetooth speaker, several sunscreen bottles, sunglasses and more! Did not dig in to my shoulders when it was full either. I have no complaints!!I just received the bag today, so I will edit this review later once I use it. This is going to be used as my beach bag for the lake mostly.Great material, super soft, well made. Has structure, I noticed people saying it was super floppy. Handles feel well made as well. The magnetic closures are decent. Not the very best but I’m fine with that.The bottom is removable. The little wristlet it came with is cute too. It’s too small to hold a cell phone (iPhone Android, etc) but could hold wallets, keys, chapstick, etc. You can see in my photo how it’s about the size of my hand.I’ll update when I put the bag to use in about 2 weeks!

Lovely bag that is lightweight. An ideal gym bag. I would probably give 4.75 stars - for I only wish it had side pockets on inside or out for keys/ phone/ water bottle - but I realize not everyone would use as a gym tote and I saw it was not advertised that way so I was not expecting it. But it would add to the bag. It does have a zipper pouch but I would prefer side pockets (I realize that is personal preference) It is lightweight and yet feels it is made well. Folds easily. I love the red color. Perfect size. Great price.

I like the size, but it's too floppy. I was hoping for something that had more of a defined shape to it. If I were using it for towels or clothing, it would probably be OK. But I needed it for toting folders and things back and forth from work. Next time I will look for something with a defined bottom and sides.

The Pole Tribe Studio Gym/Beach Tote bag is good looking and well designed. It can certainly handle getting wet and looks like it will hold up well as long as you don't carry too heavy things. My wife ordered it because the coral color is perfect for Hawaii. Unfortunately, she decided that it is too heavy for her. Weight is always a deciding factor because she is small and a senior. It is large and that is part of the reason for the weight. So we are returning it. Our return experience through Amazon has been amazing. They make it very user-friendly. No wonder it is hard to compete with Amazon!

A great sporty bag - and an excellent value. TWO small issues: 1) The magnetic side snaps, pop open way too easily. It’s impossible to keep them closed.... I will be using binder clips on the inside of the bag to keep the bag folded in. 2) The rope with the small detachable pouch is sewn at the bottom of the bag - Ugh. It should be sewn towards the top. Who wants to dig at the bottom of the bag find the rope?

I really love this tote bag! It is great quality and looks really stylish. I wanted something that could be carried to work and easily fit in my gym gear too.I'm off on a beach holiday this weekend and I think it will be perfect for this too.Very happy with the bag!

Got this bag as mainly for pool and language classes with lots of books. I'm generally happy with large opening with big capacity to pop into food shop after pool. I'd still say that small bag to hold key etc is too small. Ì can't fit my purse in. Also cord does dig into shoulder when heavy. Wish there were some padding on the strap.

Very nice and neat bag for gym or swimming. Spacious and the little pouch is very handy for keys, coins or even mobiles sometimes.Easily cleaned.With the side poppers, it shrinks the size of the bag, but maybe it could do with another popper in the middle for securing the contents & preventing any small item from dropping.Still a very simple yet practical & definitely a good buy.

It is a great day bag - I took it away on the weekend, to the beach one day and the markets the next and it was perfect - so very versatile. It is a great size, of good quality and I also like the wallet that comes with the bag, to hold small objects not to be lost, such as keys. I have just bought another one for my sister.

I am so pleased with this bag. The quality is excellent and as i am a bit of a mary poppins when it comes to bags this will be excellent as a work tote. I did ask a question before buying and got a speedy reply about how to wash the bag which gave me confidence to buy. Hoping for other colours as think this bag will quickly become a staple. Outstanding value for money.
