ROMANTIC COMEDY CHRISTMAS FUN!
“It never occurred to her … that one fateful day could set her on the path she would walk for the rest of her existence—a path she would walk alone.” —Debbie Johnson, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas SweaterHaving previously been intrigued by the memorable clever book title, “Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater,” by Debbie Johnson, I decided to read the book after noticing it was premiering this year as a 2020 Hallmark Christmas movie. It did not disappoint! Its a book about regrets and second chances, full of British humor, fun old English words, and tender reflective moments, although it’s a little more steamy and sexually promiscuous than I suspect the Hallmark script will be. This book is both charming and chaotic, heartwarming and cosy, ‘have yourself a cup of decadent hot chocolate,’ Christmas comedy fun! If you love romantic comedy, you too, will give a ‘Christmas fig’ about what happens to Marco Cavelli—the ‘Hot Papa from the Park,’ the ‘Man with the Tux,’ the ‘idiot’ who crashes his way into single mum Maggie O’Donnell’s life.” Enjoy the ride!!

I write this with happy tears on my face
Rating: 4.5 StarsI write this with happy tears on my face. This story was sweet and heartwarming. With a title like that I expected something fun, and this was, but it also brought the feels. There were some moments, where my heart ached, but then that epilogue had my heart exploding. I feel like this one probably hit me a little harder, because Maggie was a young single mom, who spent her life raising her daughter. Now, her daughter was, who was the center of Maggie's world, was 18, at university, and making her own life. I related so hard to this, and therefore, was so invested in Maggie getting her HEA. This book was a total package for me, and I really loved it.

:: 3 Pretty Little Stars ::
Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater is cute and lighthearted read. I enjoyed getting to know Maggie and Marco, and I liked their budding relationship even though it was built very quickly and on silly terms (they were quite unbelievable but hey, it's fiction!). However, there were a few things about it that I didn't love, which is ultimately why I only gave the book three stars. For example, there wasn't enough Christmas cheer for me to feel like this was an actual holiday book. Then there is the "insta-love" that goes on that threw me through a loop. Other than this, it is a cute read and I recommend it to those who are specifically looking for a lighthearted and easy chick lit novel.

Another winner from Debbie Johnson!
I loved this book!! I so enjoy Ms. Johnson's writing (loved the Comfort Food Cafe series), and this book lived up to my expectations. It was heartfelt, funny and tear jerking, all at the same time!! If you are looking for a delicious Christmas book, this is it!

Dennis Johnson book
I love Debbie Johnson but this was not one of my favorite books of hers. It started out great and I loved it but became kind of slow. It was be a good book if you have nothing else to read.

I just love this author
I just love this author! Her books are easy, fun books to read. I have read several of her books already, and plan on being a fan for life! She's funny, and her creative ways of describing people and places, takes you on the adventure along with them! She's artful in the conditions of the heart, and that wonderful feeling you get when you meet someone, and the chemistry is just right!! It's that feeling that everyone desires to feel, and are lucky enough to experience, at some point in their life. I would highly recommend this author and her books!

Love and incest on the high seas
Can I have a do over? I consider myself as kinky as the next man, but this gives "tickle my ass with a feather" new meaning. Otherwise, a real yawner.

MArco and Maggie
The sequel to Cold Feet, Marco,s STORY, was a very enjoyable read. I Liked Marco much more than his twin brother Rob. ROB AND LEAH were in the story throughout. This may be the end of this series but Debbie has plenty of other books to read. I wish I understood all the English phrases and places mentioned in the book. GAVE 4 stars.

Put me in the mood for Christmas!
Oh my days, how I love books by Debbie Johnson! This love started last year with Cold Feet at Christmas; it developed further this year with Pippa’s Cornish Dream and now it has been solidified with Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper.Maggie is a young, single mum: she is a seamstress that creates fabulous wedding dresses for people but she herself is stuck in a romantic rut that has lasted since she gave birth to Ellen – her 18 year old daughter. But then she falls for Marco Cavelli…literally. They crash into each other and fall of their respective bikes which leads to broken bones but is also starts a beautiful friendship. Could Marco be the man of Maggie’s dreams or will her darkest secret keep them apart. On paper, people could easily write Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper off as being just “another Christmas romance” but they would be very wrong to do so. With Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper, Johnson has created a multi-layered story that entertains, amuses and yes – at times – makes you tear up. It is, for want of a better word, a magical story.Johnson has an innate ability to make you fall in love and care deeply about her characters. What I especially loved about Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper is the return of Rob and Leah from Cold Feet at Christmas – it is like receiving a visit from old friends.Johnson also makes you care about her tertiary characters. I want to read about Gaynor and Tony’s adventures in marriage; I want to know why Lucy and Josh found their wedding to be so stressful and most of all I want to read more about Isabelle and Michael – whose story within Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper deserves a book of its own, in my humble opinion.Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper is a wonderful story, one that I couldn’t put down and that I am genuinely saddened to see end. Like mulled wine at Christmas time, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper by Debbie Johnson is available now.Find out more about Debbie Johnson by going to her website www.debbiejohnsonauthor.com and follow Debbie Johnson (@debbiemjohnson) via Twitter.

Perfect with a Baileys and a mince pie!
Guess what? It's snowing! So wrap up in your warmest winter scarf, cosy in, and get ready for a wonderful couple of hours...because this festive read has it all. Think Christmas, weddings, romance, happy times, and sad times... Debbie Johnson's perfectly crafted writing makes for effortless reading, her characters leap off the page and pull you into the story, and once I started I couldn't put it down. Constantly entertaining, witty, warm hearted and funny, I especially love this book because woven in with the Christmas magic there are deeper, poignant moments. There are parts that will make you laugh out loud, while other bits will have you reaching for the tissues. As well as the Christmas jumpers, I also enjoyed the sewing details, the fabulous backdrop of Oxford, and the nitty gritty, down-to-earth feel that Debbie Johnson does so well. Why not treat yourself? Perfect with a Baileys and a mince pie!

A real page turner with a feel good factor.
WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP.......I so loved this Christmas book. I fell hopelessly in love with this story. If I had to pick a tiny fault, a broken leg did seem to be causing a lot of difficulties, it doesn't stop you being able to wash yourself! However this didn't stop me loving every page, thank you Debbie. 5 huge snowballs ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️.
