IOTA DLS-27-25 24 Volt 25 AMP Automatic Battery Charger/Power Supply

This is a well built unit and it works great in my solar bank. I use the AGM IQ4 module and it will top off my bank in about 2.5 hours (136 Ah at 24 V). Fan is silent but works fine to cool when the unit consumes/produces over 400 watts. Does a 3 stage charge at the parameters stated with the AGM module. No complaints at all other than the instructions both online and in the box are very limited in terms of details of operation and triggers for each stage.Inrush current is not an issue and it starts out on a low bank at 940 watts (25 amps out) consumed and then tapers down to 140 watts where it is at zero output. I run the unit on a 2000i Honda generator with no issues with ground floating.

The charger runs well and do its job properly.Some control LEDs would be great.

It does the job

Love this charger. Have been using it for a few months now and it's working brilliantly to top off my 24V battery bank. It's really handy when we have sketchy mains power and we use it to keep a constant charge going to the battery system.Will see how it ages over time, but so far it seems nice and solid. Pretty pleased with its 2 year warranty as well.One issue is that it appears that little plug it comes with, that's supposed to raise the voltage on the unit, appears to do both diddly and squat. Plugged or unplugged nothing changes, not voltage, not Amps delivered, nada. It still delivers power, when it's needed, upto it's rated output, just that nothing changes with that plug.But I don't need it to do bulk charging, I just need a constant stable trickle charge and reliable 25amp 24v power supply. And for that it's A+.

Have several high output marine diesel engines that require 24vdc to operate. (no alternators) I use batteries for this, but need a constant/ consistent, charging supply. My "house power" is also provided by a diesel driven generator. Has been my experience that Digital Chargers don't like these conditions. According to the ecm display, the engines are liking this charger.

We purchased this for 24vdc automotive component check-out. It works as advertised. Good quality. IOTA also makes a 12vdc that we are using for a semi-trailer power supply.

I am using this product to run solar powered equipment at night. IT seems to be cheaply made but it is doing the job for me right now.
