Great handle!
Works with any impact style bit. Bits snap in without having to pull down on a lock mechanism. Push up on the lock sleeve, and it stays up until you snap another bit it. The handle is the prefect size, and has a good non-slip grip, even with oily hands.

Excellent, properly designed bit driver!!!
Excellent bit driver!! This bit driver features a bit lock instead of relying on a magnet to keep bits attached to it, and the lock is rock solid. I was tired of cheap drivers that only have a weak magnet to hold bits. Plus the only thing magnets hold on to are little bits of metal shavings and eventually makes it impossible to put bits in the driver. With the locking mechanism this Wera driver has, no more hassle. The handle absolutely fits the hand better than any other driver, and with the extension it’s able to get into many hard to reach areas. The only downside to this driver, and it’s not enough of a downside to not give this driver a 5 star rating, is that if it’s a really tight area your trying to get into, the bit housing may be too big to get into, just FYI. I have bought several of these bit drivers to use in the home, the shop, and work. Buy this bit driver, you will not be disappointed!!

Excellent chuck, very nice ergonomics
I was a bit disappointed when I first opened the box because it seemed smaller than I was expecting. Then I compared it to my Craftsman #2 phillips I've owned forever and found the handle to be longer and has a larger diameter at its widest point. Then I started to use it and realized the ergonomics are far superior to the traditional screwdrivers I have been using forever. There's a hexagonal ring around the business end where your thumb rests that gives more support than if it were rounded. Your index finger rests in the narrow area behind and your middle and ring fingers straddle the widest part giving more control and comfort than a standard screwdriver that doesn't have these tapers. The black part of the handle is hard plastic while the green areas are some type of synthetic rubber which greatly improves the grip. The chuck works quite well and it will secure both impact and straight bits. You push forward to release and the chuck stays in the forward position until the next bit is inserted and it automatically snaps back to lock which is a nice feature.100mm bits will give you the standard length of a typical #2 screwdriver. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071QY6X16

Works well
Well made and locks onto bits nicely. Fits nicely and comfortably in my hand even when wrenching on it. To give an idea of fitment on hand; I wear small nitrile gloves and it stretches. I toss it in my tool bag with my impact drill.

Wera Rapidaptor works with JIS 13mm tangs!
Purchased this Wera 813R rapidaptor bitholding driver just HOPING it would work with my Japanese Vessel bits. Yes, it holds the JIS bits with the 13mm tang (side that is inserted into the driver) and securely locks into the driver with the quick locking collar. Releasing the bit requires sliding the collar up towards the shank which is normal operation. There is very little play and the driver's compact size is great for working on smaller pieces of equipment. Very pleased that I took the chance!

Cool, well made
Works great, holds my hex bits and they're firmly locked in place. No complaints whatsoever.

Nice set
Review is for the 816R (119mm) and the 813R (90mm)Very Nice, solid bit holders. Easy to use Rapidaptor. I like the Wera and Rapidaptor design so much I now have 3 holders and a drill adapter. They are all comfortable to use. Just know that the 813 is VERY small, as in using your finger tips not your palm - I plan to use mine with a Wiha 4mm to 1/4 bit adapter, and my previous micro bits. The 816 is a perfect compromise if you have to choose just one. See pics for size comparison among the 813, 816, and 818 Multi-bit (stores bits inside handle). The 813 is also shown next to a Wiha bit set for comparison.

works vary well
It's the best screwdriver I own. The small size makes it very easy to use especially with smaller screws. It also locks the bit in extremely well and you cannot pull it out.

This was the screwdriver I was looking for to help with small part assembly and as a sort of pin vice. The smaller size and great bit collar release thingy is VERY slick. This is an amazing product. Thanks

Wera Kraftform 812/1 1/4" hex socket Multi-Purpose Screwdriver, Strong & Built to Last
I have several Wera Screwdrivers and like their unique handles which increase grip comfort. Since I have so many 1/4" bits, I thought it would be handy to have this Kraftform 812/1 which could handle anything I have and avoid buying obscure types of screwdrivers with limited use. Slightly larger than I expected but built very well. The magnet, as others have mentioned, is strong retains the bits well. Not marked where it's made, but usually the Wera products come from the Czech Republic. A good way to save money on buying lots of screwdrivers if you have an extensive bit set. Recommended.
