Okay, I am a magician and almost 70 yo. I put them on at the Magicians convention, and the hotel also had a large, 3000+ church youth group in the same hotel. They where a hit, a big hit. I want a commission on all the reference I gave to Amazon for those wanting a pair. lol.I tried them on first at a restaurant to treat one of my nephews, 7 yo, to a birthday dinner. I turned on the shoes in the middle of the meal and the waitress came by and stated, "The other commented on you shoes and we didn't even know they lit up. I'm going to go get her so she can see them now."The fit was good and comfortable. There is a "Y" USB cord and 5W charger that is sort of easy to attach. The attachment to charge does take a little effort but not frustrating at all. The "button" spot to turn them on and cycle through the many colors and effects takes a little effort to find on each time you wear them, but when the sweet spot is found you cycle through like a champ.They are bright enough for day, yet in the evening they are killer and you WILL get lots of compliments.

My son's favorite colors are flashy and tacky so he flipped when I showed him a picture of these shoes. We have only had them for 24 hours but so far, so good. They fit great and work exactly as advertised. There was no funny smell when we opened the box like another reviewer mentioned. They are well made shoes - good cushion, proper ankle support etc.My only complaint, and the reason I didn't give the product 5 stars is, the button to push to change the lights color/pattern is on the USB port and nearly impossible to get at while wearing the shoes.Overall though, I am really impressed with the quality and features of the shoe especially considering the price.

Background: Purchased this as a Christmas present for my son. He takes really good care of it and these shoes have not yet seen water or snow.The Good: 1st month - Arrived well packaged, with charging cable. Quality looked pretty good for the price. Everything functioned as described.The Bad: 2nd month - One shoe still functioned 100% while the other seemed to take on a life of its own. The paint used for this shoe is starting to wear quite a bit (in the front top of the shoe by the air ducts section).It was worth the $40 and change but don't expect more then 3-4 months out of it

I don't really like the way the shoes themselves look, but I usually only wear them in the dark. The colors look bright and it definitely gets a lot of looks. After months of usage they started to fade to different colors, especially the blue (one of them looks green!). Also, because of the way I bend my feet while I walk, a couple of the lights in the middle of the shoe have stopped working.

Overall a pretty good buy but the button gets pressed every few steps or so and as such it's very hard to keep the lights set to the right setting. If you're planning on keeping the lights on a certain color for the whole time you wear them, or even have the shoes match, move on. Otherwise, good fit, bright light.

I was very happy. Order a full size up for comfort. The lights did end up shorting out after a few hours of wear. However, I was dancing in them like a mad man, so I'm not really upset. I was trying to break them and they eventually did. I would totally buy another pair for a party or something.

I am very happy with the high tops I received. The size is a little small, but the overall quality of the shoes is very good. I've bought shoes before that have an odor similar to off gassing, but these shoes have no odor whatsoever. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for fun footwear!

Took 3 weeks to get from china. Bought them for my daughter. She loves them. Button to change color is hard to locate. Movement changes color randomly. Still worth it. My pair works better but some of the leds are already burnt out or random colors are burnt out after a month. Stays charged for a good amount of time.
