This third party lid fills a gap - I wanted a lid that would make my bottle into a tumbler (i.e. would. It leak when laying on its side). The original hydro flask flip lid simply isn’t tight enough.Things I like: one handed operation is easy and it seals well. Essentially, it does the job it is supposed to do. The low price makes it an easy purchase decision.There are two downsides, both minor: first, the seal ring is slightly beveled, meaning it has to be inserted the correct way (with the bevel side facing in, towards the lid) or it will leak. You’ll see it only fits flush in one direction. This is easy to do, but a pain if you aren’t looking for it. Second, when the lid is flipped up the rubber stopper is right at the nose height, meaning it will tap your nose and get your drink on it if you don’t block or dry it. Again, a simple thing to avoid, but I wish I didn’t have to think about it.The good outweighs the bad on this one, and I purchased two more for my wife and friend. They love it, too. We all use it daily.

I bought two of them and immediately tried them out. They do not leak on my HydroFlask 16 oz, 20 oz and 32 oz wide-mouth thermoses.To test them, I filled my HydroFlask bottles with hot water and hot coffee. I then inverted the bottle, placing it on a paper towel. After 10 minutes - no leaks.I then refilled the bottles and shook them vertically, horizontally and in circles. I them laid the bottles on the paper towel (on their side). No leaking.The cap worked very well, and I had no problem with drinking from the cap - it did not get in my way.The cap is spring-loaded, so expect a small number of droplets to fly out when you open the Flip Lid.The caps do seal very tight on the wide-mouth HyrdoFlasks. It may appear that the cap in not screwing down enough, so go by feel, not look.I am very satisfied with these and just bought two more.

Works great while closed. Easily opened with one push of button, Just make sure you watch your flip top that the special shaped gasket stays on. Also watch after you unscrew the cap that the main round sealing washer does not fall out. Have had these washers fall off a number of times. They are not held in very well.

I really like this lid, my only gripe is that it doesn't lock open, there is a nub that is supposed to catch the top when flipped ooen by the print but mine is defective and never locked, I would've returned it but honestly it is so small of a nuisance that I didn't want to bother returning. It is leak proof and does much better than the original lid. One thing that would be nice is if it had a lock to prevent accidental openings (I've had it happen once).

It's advertised as a fit for a hydro flask. While that is true, it isn't quite a perfect fit. It isn't snug, however it doesn't leak when I tighten the lid down. It sits sideways because the lid threads aren't exact.I like the flip lid which is why I bought it. That gasket isn't as waterproof as it needs to be. I find myself holding the entire lid down and applying pressure while shaking my bottle.Not bad for the price. Could be a bit cheaper due to the issues.

This is a great lid - if you don't accidentally depress the button when you gather up a bunch of stuff in your arms, causing the lid to snap open and hot tea to pour all over the place, including work pants.Otherwise, the only issue is that sometimes a little liquid gathers on the top of the lid where the flap rests, occasionally dripping coffee or tea.

This lid does a great job at not spilling when tipped over and slowing me to quickly take a drink from my Hydro Flask with one hand.The push button on the side is not hard to push and flips up quickly when you give it enough pressure.It easily gets pushed back in place when done.This is an awesome lid for my 64oz HYDRO Flask and gets the job done well!

The seal ring doesn't fit perfectly, so you have to make sure it's settled every time or the lid will leak
