Coach's Perspective - Good to Go!
I coach youth football and my twin sons are on the team. They both start on both sides of the ball and special teams (no, I'm not the head coach - I coach the backs) so they need good gear that protects and lasts. Like all kids this age (4th grade) their teeth are like little bone saws that never stop grinding the mouth guard. I have been through every type and brand from UA to Wilson to Nike to Shock Doctor. Nothing has ever lasted more than a week even when the boys tried not to destroy them. These are iron clad and have lasted several weeks with no signs of wear.Pros:-Durable-Thick tooth pad-Thick strap stays put-BREATHING HOLES that WORK - the jaw must be closed to avoid concussions. When my sons call out plays or cadence, they can keep their mouth closed.-Lip guards - you would be surprised how many little bast#*ds are punching your kids under their masks in the pileCons- They are thick so take some getting used to - about a day or two of complaining- They don't form with hot water despite the directions - This is of little concern as the point of a mouth guard is to prevent the jaw from slamming shut which causes concussions. The teeth don't have to be locked in bc your player can breath with his mouth closed. If you are tired of buying dozens of mouth guards and want to be sure your child is not playing with one that is not providing protection, spend the 8 bucks and feel better.

Great for kids
Got this for my son in youth football and it's great. He was chewing on the last couple of mouth pieces which would cause sharp edges and irritate his mouth. This one is thick double sided and has a breathing hole in the Center to breath out your mouth while the mouth piece is in

Great buy!
Quality mouthguard especially for the players who try to chew their mouthguard. I spent $20+ on many mouthguards for my kids and these rock as they lasted all football and lacrosse season for just a few dollars. Just ordered 3 more! Great buy!

Must have for youth football
Worked Great for my son. lasted entire season without him chewing through it. Protection was good too. He has a broken front adult tooth held in by a brace. He didn't complain once about the mouthguard or the tooth.
