I've bought several hdmi/ps2 adaptors with various qualities ranging from poor to visually too dark even with brightness cranked. Finding this product I was skeptical of the quality and the price gave me pause. However, after the last cable I purchased made the image literally to dark and muddy to even use I caved and made the purchase. Instantly the quality shone through as a title screen that was too blurry to read now was completely legible and crispy clean. So I loaded up the game (wizardry: forsaken land) and instantly the quality of the artwork popped. Everything was legible and clean. The thing that sealed it for me was the cavern section was finally visible via the new hdmi adaptor. If you have any hesitation, don't. It's worth the value.

Makes my Dreamcast games look super crisp and high detailed and colorful, even better than using VGA. Would recommend to anyone !

It worked fine but the ad says it's plug and play and it doesn't need a power supply. This is misleading because it does need a separate power to source to make it work and they don't provide the extra cord to make the unit function. Will be returning and getting a true plug and play type adapter.

Does not work at all. The product is clearly meant to have a light that comes on when in use. Additionally there is a microusb port on the side. The description on this store page describes it as plug and play, with no additional power source needed. *both* of the products I got (original and replacement) come with an insert card that *directly references how to properly use the power supply*When I emailed the seller the first time, they just automatically sent me a new one. The second time they said "take it a shot" and has since stopped communicating with me.Whether or not this product works I'll never know. But it's definitely not what it's advertised as.

I bough hdmi converters for Dreamcast, ps2 and Nintendo and they all work beautifully. I really love this product because the price is reasonable and the quality high. I can play with my old consoles whenever I want now.

This adapter actually worked without the need for and additional power adapter. The games looked really sharp on a 1080p monitor, but I did have a couple of games that were not supported to run this way.

Great VGA quality for the price.
