Great Rower, great Value.
Since there weren’t many reviews I wanted to take time to write about this purchase. I researched endlessly for a water rowing machine. Even though some others had more reviews with decent ratings I was convinced this was the better value. It was a great choice. First, arrived quickly, packaging was top notch, assembly was a breeze with orderly packaging and good instructions. 30 minutes- Done!I have used Concept2 rowers at gyms. They are the standard commercial rower. Air not water. 10 resistance settings. I never felt like 10 was enough resistance. This Merax did not disappoint. Good sturdy design that allows 6 water level settings. Level 3 is a solid workout with room to grow. Smooth operation. Well built. Some have expressed disappointment with the LCD screen. I found it to be everything I needed. Works well and positioned well for use and viewing while rowing. I’ve been using this rower for a week. I will update with any changes. For now I would highly recommend. Oh, the price is a good value for the product. No regrets.30 day update: still very satisfied. Everything I wanted in a rower. I’ve had great complements from others who have tried mine who use commercial gym equipment. One year review: I still row 3-4 times a week. Works as well today as it did on day one. No disappointments. Industry says a rower works 85% of your muscles and I wouldn’t disagree. Very good cardio, strength training and toning all without bone and joint jarring discomfort. I am 61 years young and this rower is a solid part of my routine. I am 6 foot and 180 lbs, 24% BMI, 13.9% body fat. My rower would be the one piece of equipment I wouldn’t give up.

Great quality for the price, easy assembly
I was looking at cardio equipment for my basement gym but I wanted something quiet to not wake my wife or baby in the morning. An air bike/rower would be too loud. After reviewing water rowers and the jaw-dropping prices, I wasn't sure what to do until I saw this rower from Merax. Unfortunately, the reviews appeared to be from their older model without any real informative feedback. Here's my initial review:The shipping was fast and sooner than expected. (4 business days) It was well packed and had no damage from shipping. The assembly was very easy and had well written instructions. It consisted of 4 steps and will take about 30 minutes of actual assembly or 15 with better tools than what's provided. The rower is made out of steel tubing, including the rail, and feels like it can truly hold the rated limit of 330lbs. (More than most rowers in this price range) It feels very sturdy and is very smooth when rowing. The seat is comfortable and I didn't find myself readjusting throughout the workout. I like the width and comfort of the handle. I like that it can be stored upright when not in use. Althought the LCD screen feels cheap, it has some good capabilities. During "sleep mode" it displays time, date, and temperature. There's many modes to program your workout and you can even race the PC. It would be nice if the screen lit up.I'm not sure how accurate the rowing is or how it compares to other rowers but that was not a concern of mine. The overall appearance of the rower is very nice. Some spotty welds were observed but the finish looks good and overall, a very nice rower. I hope it holds up in the long run!"If there's no wind, row."

GREAT ROWER FOR THE PRICE
I have been shopping for an affordable water rower for some time now and decided on this Merax rower because it fit my budget and had decent reviews. First off - it is nice I could have it delivered but be prepared! This is a very large and heavy box. The minimal assembly was quick and the instructions are easy to follow. Now - the workout. It’s great! As good as the expensive machine at the rec center (which is the only rowing machine in our town with a rec center and eight gym clubs -how do people not know that rowing is a PERFECT exercise). The seat is smooth as is the rowing. I like the sound and the feel of the water wheel. I find them superior to other types of rowing machines.Despite its size, it is very easy to move and set upright to tuck out of the way. I am really happy with this purchase.

Very Well Built!
Let’s be honest when it comes to workout machines build quality is huge. So I’ve had this for a couple days now and I have to say I’m very happy with it. Time will tell on how long it lasts but it’s very well built and is very solid. It’s a perfect price point if you don’t want to spend $1k for a water rower. Coming from CrossFit I love rowing and prefer water over the Concept 2. This also fits nicely in a small room. Very easy to put together as well. I filled the tank all the way up to max level and the resistance is perfect and will kick your butt for 30min or more no problem. I highly recommend this is a great affordable tower that doesn’t sacrifice on build quality like cheap ones. I’m 5,10 and have plenty of room I think even over 6ft you’d be fine

I love this machine and wish I had bought it a ...
I have only had this a week and I can already tell that I am getting smaller. I don't weigh myself so I have to go by how my clothes fit and they are getting loose. The other thing that has really shocked me is that I'm not hungry. I noticed that immediately. And believe me I am always hungry. I love this machine and wish I had bought it a long time ago. I truly recommend this machine. You won't be sorry.
