64gb SDXC micro readable, GREAT sound, BAD radio programing
GREAT sound, 32gb SD capacity, CORRECTION!!! JUST POPPED IN A 64gb micro and it WORKS!! Radio station programing virtually non existent. It will auto program but picks up and stores stations just before(.1Mhz) the designated frequency. The programing order is not changeable. Would not stop at 102.1 which is one of, if not the, most powerful stations in my area. With 64bg of music on the SDXC card, I wont be listening to the radio anyway. No station memory when battery pulled out, which can be a good thing. Yes the battery can be charged in the unit so removal is not necessary, but I use the same battery in many flashlights I have so I will just swap it out for a fully charged one and go. But hey at 56 I'm the "elderly" this radio is intended for. I wonder what the Kiddies under 40 are using? Bring Back 45s! The sound is exceptional for the size. It is a keeper and the price is right.

The best compact MICRO SD memory card/USB MP3 player I have tested and Amazon has the best price.
It's nice it has a FM radio tuner but the main feature for me is playing MICRO SD memory cards. It's a really good MP3 player and remembers where you were listening on the card after you shut it off or remove the battery and each time you turn it on the LCD shows the file number then resumes that file and shows the passing time of the file so you know exactly where you are on that particular MP3 file. I mean this player is better then a 3 hundred dollar Tascam, I wish it would record but you can't have everything at least not at this present time.I use 32GB cards with a dozen 75 minute MP3 files so it's important to be able to return where I left off after turning it off and I especially love the rotary volume control which also turns it on and off.You can go directly to a MP3 file with the number buttons when you're in the SD memory card/USB mode and after scanning the FM band you can go directly to preset local FM stations or simply press the frequency number for direct listening of any local FM station. When you're listening to MP3s you can scan the music and still hear it while it's scanning forward/reverse and see the time passing on the LCD screen.Other similar models offer AM radio but the reception sucks and scanning songs is silent plus they use a smaller battery.I can recommend this nice compact MICRO SD memory card/USB player as the best value and especially for only $16.99.This model comes in blue and red so if you're buying a different color you're probably not buying this model.I did not receive any compensation from the manufacture for this review...I bought 4 of these on Amazon.

Alternative use as a babbling brook white noise generator
I was thinking of adding a tabletop water fountain to a nature display area, just to provide some pleasant, natural background noise. But I recognized that that would have created an ongoing maintenance problem with replacing the water that evaporated and then trying to remove the calcium deposits that would have accumulated from our hard city water. And a real fountain would have also raised the humidity in the display area, which is already too high in the summer months. So instead of a real water fountain, I downloaded a free hour-long MP3 file of a quietly babbling brook and copied it to a USB drive that I snapped into this portable player. We're not talking about the London Symphony Orchestra here, just a babbling brook, and the sound quality of this player is perfectly adequate for that. It sounds quite realistic, I can adjust the volume, it doesn't require any maintenance, and it's now been playing 24x7 for four months without a problem.

While it’s a charming little device, it’s not without its flaws. I still really like it though.
This is a review of the MiFine B820 radio. While it’s a charming little device, it’s not without its flaws. I still really like it though. For $17, they packed a ton of features into this device. Really ambitious, but did they pull it off?Let’s take a look…Build Quality:It’s perhaps slightly nicer than what you would expect from an inexpensive Chinese device. The red front looks really nice. The back is actually that rubberized plastic which has a nice tactile feel. The buttons have a solid click to them. The antenna seems pretty secure. The antenna is about 5 inches long. The battery cover stays on quite nicely. The volume is a rotary dial which is a really nice touch – You can do precise adjustments as opposed to a button where one setting might be too loud and the next might be too quiet. The battery is an 18650 cell which holds 2200mah. Quite nice and lasts a long time for a device like this. I’m pretty sure I’ve soldered one of these into the battery pack on a small laptop before.Edit: I've used this radio for 2 weeks at work, with about an hour of daily use. I still haven't had to recharge it yet and the battery icon still shows full! Incredible!Mp3 player:Yes, it has an mp3 player which can play songs off a micro SD card or USB drive. However, I wouldn’t expect to put thousands of mp3s on here, because there is not a practical way to organize them. You simply hit next and back to navigate through them. You can also type in the number of the song you want, but seriously, how would you know which song is which number out of hundreds or thousands? So my intention is to just put a few long DJ mixes on there at a time so it is easier to sort through them. One nice thing that you wouldn’t expect from a device this inexpensive is the fact that it saves your place on an mp3 when you turn it off and back on – Really nice when listening to long mixes like this. [Side note, I’ve tried appending (without re-encoding) a text to speech recording of a voice saying the name of each mix to the beginning of each mp3 so it is easier to tell what mix I am listening to while scanning tracks, but I haven’t been able to get the files to play in any player yet… Work in progress…]FM Radio:This is probably the primary feature of this device. It has FM only, no AM. Unfortunately the reception is not as good as I expected. I bought this to use at my job which is inside at a hospital. Lots of concrete walls. I can basically only pick up ONE station clearly (7.2 miles away and strong broadcast power)! Fortunately for me, it is actually the station I wanted to listen to most of the time. Even then, this station still has a little bit of static. I checked a list of local stations here and tried many of them, and I could only pick up one other station 2.2 miles away and the reception was pretty terrible. Any of the other main stations I sometimes listen to in the car just didn’t even pick up at all. I even tried one that is only less than 1 mile away, and it didn’t even pick up! I don’t know if it’s because of the walls here, but I still would have expected better reception than this. In this respect, this is the most disappointing thing about the radio for me.Sound Quality:This is where the unit excels! I’m kind of a budget audiophile (I like nice $100+ headphones) and I like to pick up bluetooth speakers for giggles just to test them out so I’ve got a decent bit of experience when it comes to small portable sound stuff. The sound coming out of this thing is quite nice considering the inexpensive price. Of course you can’t expect hi-fi or anything, but all things considered it’s impressive! It gets plenty loud for personal single room listening. Kick drums on electronic music actually thump on this thing! Basslines are a bit quiet, but they can be heard. Mids and highs are very clear. I would say it’s at least on par with my “Jam classic” Bluetooth speaker which was a $30 speaker, but not as good as my 808 Hex XS Bluetooth speaker which was a $60 speaker.Misc features:As reviewer M. Erb stated, a bonus feature is there is a clock mode. In addition, you can sync the device to the PC and transfer mp3s to the micro SD card. However, I couldn’t get it to sync with the Mini USB cable that came included with the radio… Leading me to believe that it was a charge only cable. I had to use a different Mini USB cable to sync. Also, the transfer rates were really slow through the USB connection. About 450KB/sec average on a USB 2.0 port... So it took something like 20 minutes just to transfer 500MB's worth of mp3s. You may do better just using a micro SD card reader. Also the fact that it is the older Mini USB technology means there are not as many cool and fun cable colors you can use to charge/sync this with. Also, M. Erb said that you could actually charge a device via the USB port on the B820. I think he is wrong. I tried several devices and I could not get them to charge. I think the port is for data only (i.e. reading USB flash drives). If it could charge devices, you would think they would include that in the feature specs because then it would also be a portable battery pack! Conclusion:Ultimately, the device is not perfect with poor FM reception and no practical way to sort large amounts of mp3s. However, for an inexpensive device the sound quality is surprisingly good and this will serve my purposes quite well to just listen to mp3s and a bit of radio while I’m at work.Overall I’m pleased with the purchase. I’ll probably get another one in a different color to keep at home!

Muy bueno. Recomendable por su larga duración de batería
100% recomendado. Muy buen desempeño, bajo costo comparado con el resto de marcas en el mercado de la competencia. Muy buena marca.
