I'll start with the good points. This product is very easy to use. The magnet is just right, meaning that it easily sticks to the top of my truck but is not difficult to remove. The light works well, and it's simple to change the light pattern.However, the light is not very bright. It is not very visible in the sunlight. Also, the cord is a little too short to get from the cigarette lighter to the top of the truck and sometimes gets in the way.

I was hoping for a brighter light. The good thing is that it uses very little energy. I drive by "real" caution lights on highway trucks and convent their lights! The cord is not very long.It would be really great for someone to make a battery opperated light (e.g. 9v battery). This would be a real possibility because LEDs pull such little amperage.

The light is exactly as advertised. It arrived quickly, and performs adequately. Unfortunately, it really is not very bright. In the dark, it is fine - but on a sunny day it doesn't provide much visibility. I volunteer regulary in parking lots (checking folks in and out for special events). I find the yellow light on the roof helps in projecting "authority" - (Oh, I'll be in and out in a minute!) I was hoping the LED lights would be more powerful than the small rotating light I had. Fortunately, for the price, I did not have to spend much money to find out. I COULD have returned it, of course, but for the price, I decided to keep it. The product is well-constructed, holds on my roof in VERY inclemate weather at 60 miles an hour. The cord is plenty long to reach my lighter outlet. I place the light in the center of my pick-up cab, bring the line in, close the door, then drape it behind my rearview mirror. It still plugs in easily, and the cord is out of my line of sight.

It says 10 feet coiled cord, but there is no way you can pull that cord 10 feet away from the light and keep it plugged in the cigarette lighter. The most comfortable distance would be 5 feet.I put the light on the very edge of the my car's roof and still can get the cord to stay in the cigarette lighter located in the center of the car, so if you have pickup truck or SUV it would be near impossible without an extension.The light is too small with a very light orange shield, so not very visible during the day.Overall is not a commanding light for freeway work.

We use this light for our neighborhood COP program. Decent quality. Has been dropped and still works. Cord really has to be stretched to get from car roof to accessory socket, but the magnet holds it in place.LED lights with multiple blink patterns. Does not have one that looks like a revolving light, but no big deal. Can be seen easily in the dark for a great distance, not so much in the daylight. Again, no dig deal. Used by multiple people and takes some abuse. Worth the money so far.

Upon receiving unit the magnet fell off immediately. The light was ok, but used best at night. Quality of item I would grade at a C plus. For the fifty five bucks I paid I would not recommend to a friend. I was going to return item, but misplaced the original packaging .

I purchased this for my golf cart so that I would be more visible on the roads. I am much more comfortable with my visibility with this flashing than I was with a little orange triangular flag. My friends say that they can see me as they are going to the golf course and I am very visible. I did buy a cheaper light but it broke almost immediately. Spend the money for this one as it is much better quality. I like the idea of being able to pick what kind of flash I want. We attached a metal circle to the cart roof using industrial strength Velcro and then put the light on that. The strong magnet keeps it in place even when I trailer the cart.I've had this for several months now and would still recommend it for golf carts. Works like a charm. My only problem is that people think I am the police. Go figure! My friends have commented that they can see my cart on the road from a great distance due to the flashing light. I also notice that people give me a little more room when they pass me on the road. Good safety feature to have.

I have contacted the above company with my dislike of the above product. The magnet to hold the light on the vehicle is very weak! The commpany has not bothered to get back to me, its been about a week now. In my view, not very good customer service.

GREAT
