I have been looking for a new digital clock for a while. The one I currently got hasn't been great and I had it for years. The blue light background is quite strong, so when you look at it in the middle of the night, it takes a while for my eyes to adjest before I can see the time. The more I shopped, the more I look, the more confused as to which one I ought to buy. Digital clock seems to have evolved a bit since I bought my one. With some thought, I eventually started to look for an analog face clock. Reason being? As an ex-teacher, I discovered many of my 16-years-old students cannot read a clock face. they have been bought up with digital - laptop, tablet, smart watch, mobile phones. As we are starting to teach out 6-year-old daughter to read a clock, we have decided as a family to encourage more analog face clock around the house would be better. I really love the fact that this clock is so light and easy to move about between rooms (and take to holidays) without finding an available 'socket' to plug it in. And - it is also rather magical - no ticking! So, it does exist. I did get caught out with how to set the alarm. With the instruction provided, it is the black rim that you need to turn and there will be a 'green' face in the number '6'. You can press the button for 'snooze' and as a light up in the middle of the night to see the time better. That was a function that I have really appreciated. I am completely overjoy with this product. It is so simple, yet effective.

Great little alarm clock, arrived next day with prime. Product looks fantastic and certainly doesnt make a noise. Love the fact the needles glow in the dark and you have a button on top to turn the clock light on. Uses 1 AA battery. Used this for several days and genuinelly happy. Alarm starts of sounding low and progressively gets louder. I have a small child currently sharing me and my partners bed and the alarm often wakes me up before it gets too loud to wake my 7 month child up! Perfect!

This is an excellent alarm clock. Not too big for the bedside table and the numbers are easy to read.The alarm begins with a gentle bleep, which quite quickly ramps up to an incredibly and deceptively loud bleeping noise, despite the clock's small size! I mean really loud! So if you are good at sleeping through alarms, give this one a try!The snooze works well and you can do several repeated snoozes. Following a snooze (that is using the snooze button, not actually having a snooze...), the alarm begins quietly before ramping up again.The backlight is gentle and doesn't burn your retinas in the middle of the night.You twist the front, outer rim of the clock to turn the alarm on or off. (This action needs a fair amount of grip, so someone with difficulty gripping might have trouble with this.) It's clear to you when the alarm is set to on, because the number '6' is filled in with green, as a result of turning the clock's outer rim.Tip: When fitting the batteries, put some string or ribbon beneath them, otherwise you'll have a hell of a job changing them.

My son loves it. You can set up the alarm quite easily, there is also a button that you can press and light up the clock do you can see the time during the night. I recommend it

It is nice bedside clock. It is compect and also very easy to read the time, I am not sure about the accuracy, it looks like it is not very accurate but I think a little bit error is normal. I think it is also very easy to carry this clock while Travelling because it is very handy.

Very lightweight it's good for travel and it does not make any sounds when it working, which is perfact for light sleepers. The alarm sound goes off gradually so you can stop it before it weaks others.

Excellent item. Very quiet, just a faint hum.Only thing I didn't like was the fact you have to hold the front of the clock and rotate it to turn the alarm on or off.Not very easy with arthritic hands. An off / on switch would be better.
