The suction cup system does not work!!! Everything else is great but it takes two people to use, one to hold and one to use

Do you remember the Peanuts cartoon character named Pigpen? He would walk across the room, and somehow a tidy room was now chaos.When I do BIG cooking, it is an equally big mess.Pot holders flying, open spice jars, juggling spoons, bubbling pots. Every inch of counter top real estate is valuable.This manual shredder/slicer doesn't need to be close to an electrical outlet, but is almost as fast as a food processor.Get great results with this low tech kitchen companion. Cuts quickly, cleanly. A swish in hot soapy water and a hot rinse to get ready for the next job.

The item that I bought is labeled as stainless steel which is the same in the picture displayed on amazon. But when it arrived, it wasn't stainless steel. I got surprised that it doesn't cut effectively and after the 1st use, it was rust as in the picture I sent. So please as the agreement this is not the item that I payed 145$ for. Look at the picture it is different. And also the features in the description is not true. So can I have a refund or send me the same item with stainless steel and the same features.

Great little kitchen tool. Fun to use and makes quick work out of normally tedious cutting jobs. Works so much better than a box grater.I've used it for making cole slaw and hash browns, potato chips and grated cheese. The julienne cone makes for an interesting apple pie. Clean up is pretty quick too. Just a soapy bottle brush and a rinse.

There was some confusion about this unit. Initially, I thought that the wrong unit was sent out, so the seller was nice enough to send a replacement. The replacement was not packed in a protective box and arrived damaged. It goes back to the seller tomorrow.The confusion with this unit is that when you look at the Model 6005 vs the Model 6003, a different photo is displayed for the 6005. Actually, the Model 6005 is the same unit, except that there are 5 cutting baskets/tools included vs only 3 that are included with the 6003. Add to the fact that the Model 6005 is 15 dollars cheaper than the 6003. Another mystery of life. Overall, a very good unit. Beats the heck out of all of the cheaper, budget units. The cheaper units do have their place, but for me, I like to have something that will last a long time. Die cast aluminum. solid construction. Only one caveat....don't throw this thing into the diswasher. You have a sealed bearing in the handle assembly that you don't want to get wet. Hand washing and drying is fine. At least one person has mentioned that this thing releases metal filings into the food. A dishwasher could cause this to happen, by damaging the plating and causing it to peel. This is the same thing that can happen with the plated beating elements on the Kitchen Aid mixers. Their plastic/polymer coated beaters appear to be dishwasher safe.

The stainless steel finish was poorly done. I have seen a King Cutter, purchased in Canada that had a super-shiny finish, but this one looked pitted, smudged, and unattractive. We wanted it for a wedding gift, but returned it since it didn't meet our expectations, although it probably would have done the job.

I bought this slicer to make life easier. It does not. When we use it, it constantly comes loose from our Granite countertop. It won’t work on the table either. The hinged guard does not stay in place. Throughly disappointed.

I absolutely love this King Kutter...having fun with it! I use it for salad fixings, cheese, and making my own laundry soap (have to grind the stain remover bar which is a hard material). Works like a champ and is easy to clean. Suction cups still working after a couple years use!

The picture advertised looked way different then the product I got. I was very disappointed in how cheap it was built for the money I paid for it so I returned it. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone!

I returned it, it is hard to operate, keeps on jamming, and dangerous for my fingers.
