Wolo (800) Tiger Air Tank and Compressor - 12 Volt, 1.38 CFM

The kit performed as advertised. For air horn enthusiasts I would recommend discarding the small diameter hose included and upgrade to a 3/8 inch I.D. reinforced hose capable of handling 225 plus psi. If mounting under the hood take into account the heat, especially during summer, for it will reduce the psi capability slightly. Use the Wolo 804 electric solenoid valve and slightly drill out the intake and exhaust ports. Convert each opening to a 3/8 in. barbed nipple. For the tank, slightly drill out the exhaust port and add the barbed nipple here as well. Double your hose clamps on each connection. This is a little added insurance against air leaks. If this is going on a PVC air horn the reinforced hose previously mentioned, will allow enough air volume to better run your horn(s). Remember, it's volume not so much, pressure that runs your horns. Use this same technique if you are purchasing the Wolo kit with the long extended tank as well. Happy honking !!!

The unit worked fine for six months and it stopped working. The pump will no longer kick on. Huge disappointment.

This set up is just the perfect size for air horns and maybe small car or motorcycle tires. I don't think I would try inflating a truck tire with it. The only down side is the small black hose that comes with the kit is too stiff and does not make a good seal on the brass fittings. IT also kinks too easily. I went down to the hardware store and bought some better tubing for about $3.

Bought this on board air system for my Jeep Wrangler to power a 24 inch grover semi horn I got at the junk yard. I only needed about 50 psi to make the horn sound good, but pumping in 80-120 psi from this little thing just makes it blast! I couldn't be happier with this purchase, the tank and compressor just work great. Along with powering my semi horn, it also has a separate attachment on the tank to hook up to to fill up tires, etc. while your on the go!

must put on and off switch on it because sometimes the air leaks down.

I gave this to my brother as a Xmas gift and I hooked it up for him. The pressure sensor in the tank does not work and all the fittings leaks. The compressor only worked for the first ten mins and now gave out. Not a happy customer....
