Good and can be made great.
This kit includes more tools than most of the others on offer and with a little work can be a good alternative to some of the $2-300 kits available. There are some things worth knowing. The case back wrench is unusually adjustable and able to open the extra large size fashion watches that have become popular. There are punches included for making additional sizing holes in leather bands. There is both a pin punch and pin vice for sizing watch bands. The kit includes a useable watch case vice and movement holder. The lubricant used in assembling the case back wrench is the worst I have ever encountered but can be cleaned off and replaced. The pin vice will need lubricating and gluing before use. I have had great success with Krytox GPL 206 grease on these tools and a ½ ounce tube would be more than enough to service about 10 of these kits, The case back wrench needs to be completely disassembled and all the old brown lubricant which may have hardened into an epoxy like glue should be removed - white spirit seems to do the job. If it bothers you sand off the sharp edges around the outside, do not sand any other areas of the plates as it will make the pin holders too loose. Make certain you clean the plates carefully after sanding. Use a very small amount of Krytox on the threads and sliding surfaces along with the rubbing parts and knurled wheels. Reassemble and you should have a very smooth and useable tool that will last a long time. The various shaped and sized pins for the case opener can have the threads lubricated lightly to make it easier to fit them, try and avoid getting Krytox on the pin part that contacts the case back as this can cause them to not grip properly. Clean it off with white spirit or isopropyl if necessary. The blue plastic pin vise needs to have the rotating handle glued and then lubricated. First remove the white plastic cap and band and split the two halves of the handle then put a small amount of Krytox where the pin shaft is pushed. Reassemble the two halves with the pin shaft in place and carefully glue the plastic cap and ring down with some gel instant adhesive, you may need to remove some blue plastic lumps that prevent the cap from sitting flush first. Put a small amount of Krytox on the plastic thread and work it in with the threaded handle. The tool will operate much better now and should be very smooth, it is normal for the handle to be a bit sloppy on the thread. Finally the red blade for popping off press fit backs is made of a low strength plastic. The metal from the blade only extends about an inch into the handle so when using it try and apply whatever pressure is needed over the section of the handle closest to the blade. I have not broken mine yet but a high quality alternative is about $15 - 25 if needed. It may sound like a lot of faffing about to fix these issues but you are getting a fairly comprehensive kit for very little money. If you take the time to lubricate and glue these tools you are getting a lot back for the $15 a ½ ounce of Krytox costs. I was initially very disappointed with this kit as the case back tool and pin vice were unusable but a few minutes work sorted that and for most home watch servicing this becomes a very capable kit. One tip, if you have an o-ring or gasket that is misshapen and don't have a replacement, put it in the freezer for a few minutes and it will be much less likely to kink up when you replace the back. There is a tub of silicone waterproofing grease for the gaskets in the kit, put a thin smear of this on the gasket before chilling it in the freezer. Do not try using the grease to lubricate the tools as it is not a patch on the Krytox and includes no Teflon in its formula. Thanks for reading!

This is a good kit for the price
This is a good kit for the price. I've already replaced numerous watch batteries and did some other repairs. The tools for removing watch backs and watchbands aren't very sturdy, however. The tools have already bent somewhat and some pieces aren't held in place any longer. I may have to end up buying some specific higher quality tools.

Comprehensive kit, great value and convenience, sufficient quality for all casual users like me
I've done a lot with this kit. Its very comprehensive, with some stuff I dont even know how to use. But for sizing, link removal, battery changes, its all I need and more, at a great price point, and convenient! Dont need to drive to the jewelry store, even if it was free there, the convenience is worth it. Tools are made in China of course, but are of sufficient quality for average home users and wanna-be watch collectors like me. No complaints, esp for the price. Of course, if you own a watch repair shop, you might want to get something nicer..... (ok, a bit sarcastic)

Very Good Set of Tools
I purchased this kit so I could change my own watch batteries. The company was great, fast shipping and a really good price. I think it is a quality kit and would have given a 5 star rate if there had been a description of the tools.

Kit came just as shown in the photos
I looked for a long time at the huge variety of watch repair kits on Amazon. I took a chance on this one since the pieces looked of better quality in the photos than most of the other offerings; but, you never know if the photos are accurate. Fortunately, this set came delivered just as shown in the pictures. The quality of the parts is good, and the case is a decent zip-up one. Overall, I feel this set is a good value. I have already resized three men's watch bands with no problems -- it was actually fun and easy, and makes me want to do more. I would order this set again.

A starter kit, quality equates to the price.
You pay what you get for. It's enough for an occasional small work or to get started with watch working, but it won't last. Pliers are poor quality and the screw drivers are too big for the very small screws if you want to take apart a movement.

Great deal for DIY watch repair!
This kit works great for all my watch repair needs. I have several Fossil watches and a couple Timex watches. I was able to change the battery on all of them and adjust the bands on the Fossil watches. This kit has honestly saved me hundreds of dollars on watch repairs. So far it seems like it comes with every tool I would need to fix any of my watches. I would definitely recommend buying this.
