Covidien (Kendall) P3036C Wings Quilted Cloth-Like Underpad-40/Case

We love these quilted underpads! They keep my brother's bed and lift chair totally dry and have the ability to absorb huge amounts of liquid. I no longer have to worry when traveling that I don't have enough protection under him. I simply place a cloth underpad down, then this quilted cloth over it. Not only does the bed stay dry, so does the cloth underpad, so that it can be used multiple times during our trips before I need to change it out. I have recommended these to his home health services case manager as well so that she can pass it on to home health nurses who see to the elderly clients that don't have relatives to take care of them. These have been a total lifesaver for us.

I do love these and they work well and are absorbent. However, in the folding process, it appears that something causes it to stick to itself and sometimes in the unfolding of it to place on the bed or chair, they will tear, and therefore leaving a small place that is not goo. I have had this happen with several different boxes now and I think it must be a recurring thing with the equipment that make the folds.

My daughter was on life support in September due to seizures and this hospital used these kind of under pads. It's the first time I had seen any like this in the 22 years we've been in and out of the hospital. I always used the cloth under pads on her bed and they made her sweat profusely and didn't hold anything. The hospital sent 2 packs of these home when we got released and I was extremely impressed with the quality of a disposable under pad ! If she didn't have any accidents we would reuse the next night. These DO NOT make her sweat and they are very durable and keep the mattress safe . I'm very pleased with these ! Will definitely order again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These are excellent for when traveling since they can be removed easily since they do not stick. For home I prefer those that have the stick which keeps them I'm place more. The 30 by 36 size is best for coverage in bed. I had started with the 30 by 30 and they do not give the freedom of location of the body in the bed. Absorbency is good.

Best disposable pad that I have found. Same pad that was used by my wife during a hospital stay. It is sturdy (can be used as a draw sheet), highly absorbent, and doesn't slip and slide all over the bed. Down-side is that this Covidien pad is a bit pricey.

Best pad I’ve used. After trying multiple brands, this pad proved to be worth the little extra money. It works as a good transfer pad also. It has not ripped or come apart. The extra large size allows for it to be doubled if necessary.

Strong, absorbent, and comfortable under the bum. The only sorta drawback seems to be product stiffness or thickness as the solled chux is lined up with the soiled briefs against the clean chux and briefs as the patient is being prepared for changing. Good thing the discomfort only lasts a minute, the time it takes roll out the clean chux and brief.

I used these in the hospital after surgery. For disposables, they work great for any kind of incontinence. I also use Cunningham clips and external condoms for this problem and I rarely get any urine on the bed itself. These pads also don't slip around on the bed at night unless your kids are playing WWE. Great product.
