I work as a custodian for a school district, and we have very similar window cleaning tools with heavier duty plastic made by Unger. There are only a few of them district-wide and they're highly coveted because of how beautifully they clean windows and mirrors. For some strange reason, it appears that Unger has stopped making these types of window tools (with a handle), and I've been on the lookout for something to pick up for work that would do the job just as well. These tools are lighter duty plastic, so there's a little bit of flex in the handle when I'm wiping glass, but it's still sturdy enough to get the job done just as well as the Unger ones. The tape/gunk scraper stored in the handle and the ability to scrub the window tracks makes this an attractive alternative as well. I think my biggest disappointment is that there isn't as much surface area on the velcro area of the tool, so it doesn't make quite as positive of a grip on the cleaning pad, but it still holds just fine. It's more of an aesthetic concern than anything else. The end result is clean, streak-free windows and mirrors with hardly any effort at all, and using only a very tiny amount of window cleaner to accomplish the task. Just spray a very light mist of window cleaner (or even water, actually) onto the pad and these tools will clean several windows and mirrors before needing a touch-up spray. In fact, using too much spray can cause the pads to leave a water-spot residue behind. Also, for anyone that's curious, this tool is just a tad bit wider and a tad bit shorter than the Unger tools we have. They're close enough in size that the pads for the Unger tools fit this tool just fine. So if you're looking for extra pads, or if you want the pads that don't have the microfiber (fuzzy) texture, picking up replacements/extras is quite easy.In all, my reasoning for only a four-star rating is because of the lighter-duty plastic and less velcro surface area than the old Unger tools, but the Unger tools also cost more than these guys when they were still available. These tools are worth the $10 price point I paid for them, but for heavy daily use in a school environment, I would have preferred to pay a few bucks more for something just a bit more solid.

Love this tool for cleaning glass and mirrors. Its handy for applying pressure on glass and cleans without water or streaks. Love this thing, but it doesn't work in the track of my patio door.

Haven’t used product yet, but reason for low review is that it appears to be a returned item. The package was open and no instructions.

Use on glass with only water and the shower doors and bathroom mirrors are streak free. The handle makes cleaning and drying relatively easy. I have been looking for something like this for awhile. Glad I found it on Amazon!

I used a couple of folded paper towels and Windex to clean off the majority of winter window grime, then finished with the microfiber cloth.
