High Cotton Inc. Hurricane Evacuation Plan Doormat

We live on the coast and this doormat sits on our back deck. It is constantly battered by rain, salt spray, and unrelenting sun. It has held up well to the elements and always gets a chuckle from our guests. I recommend it without reservations.It is not, however, bulldog proof. Our English Bulldog thinks this doormat is much more delicious than any of those stupid chew toys, rawhide bones, pig ears, and even milk bones we bought for his oral enjoyment. He has chewed our mat to death, and as nicely as it has held up tho the elements, it is no match for a tenacious bulldog. But no Fear! I have discovered that 2,000,000 scoville unit pepper extract will stop even the most determined bulldog. A side benefit of this strategy is the new source of entertainment that the mixture of 2,000,000 scoville unit pepper extract and tenacious bulldog provide. Sadly, he has learned not to assault the doormat because it bites back. Hard! I will be ordering a new mat after the holidays when my wife packs away the Christmas tree mat she just put out that is surely doomed. Luckily the hurricane mat has a black border so when the new one arrives I can drizzle the liquid fire on it, the pepper extract will hardly be noticeable, and the mat will be bulldog proof.

It seems to be holding up ok to everyday use. I have noticed that the blue is fading, even though it is not in direct sunlight. Therefore I had to deduct a star.
