I got this for my father who is 95 years old. He had a regular standard cane which did the job but I got him this one for Christmas. I told him after he opened up the gift, I said if you have to use a cane you might as well have one that looks stylish and classy. He loved it. The cane is very well made, it looks super incredible and the handle is like marble. Also the rubber tip at the end of the cane is removable so if you need to put another piece on maybe with a little more stability you can definitely do that the inside diameter is three-quarter inch. Amazon has me plenty of them to choose from.

This is a nice, straight, formal, black cane. It has a unique, pretty, but strong, handle. The handle may be too small if you have very large hands. I cannot tell how strong the joint is between the handle and the shaft. Time will tell.

I've had good luck with canes from this company, but this is my favorite. The shaft is unexpectedly scuff-proof, which is great for me, as I somehow manage to beat up all my nice canes. The handle is beautiful and, great for me, also seems to be scuff resistant. I have a few expensive canes, but I like this one best, and for the money it's a fantastic deal. I highly recommend it, especially if you bang up canes like I do.

I just recently started walking with a cane. I wanted something that made a statement and this cane does.I have had complements on it. It is also very sturdy.

My wife loves the looks of this cane but the pointy end of the handle made it very prone to sliding. To make it less prone to sliding off surfaces, I used a file to flatten the pointed end, then drilled some holes in the newly flat surface, and put a dab of silicone sealant over the holes. It was easy to do and greatly reduced the tenancy of the handle to slide.

Most of these reviews are from people who just got their can and like me I was delighted when it first arrived. But after a few months of use (less than 3 months) the black paint began pealing. I have tried to repaint it but it still looks cheap. Also then handle has a small nick and shows that the handle is just painted plastic. It looks great when it is brand new but I assure you, after just a few months it looks cheap and no way to avoid the black from pealing......it has happened to two canes.
