It turned up clearly pre-used and rusty in places.The up/down mechanism is a total failure, you have to manually force each side up and down as the hydraulic clearly has already lived it's best life.And it wasn't even flat! Wobbled side to side because the frame just isn't square and flat to the desk.Returned immediately, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, especially anyone with back issues as this requires manual pressure just to raise and lower. 0 out of 10.

Wanted a standing desk and this stood out from the rest both in terms of price and features.Package arrived on time. Did not need to assemble as it was fully assembled already!Very sturdy build and feels really well put together. Works perfectly for my home office.Minor blemishes in some of the wooden surfaces, but honestly for the price I paid, cannot complain. Would strongly recommend!

I'm sure this would be a nice item, but didn't really try it out as it came looking dirty and rusty with screws missing. It was clearly not new, so returned.

I do a lot of video editing and I spend many hours a day staring at screens. I've worked at a standing desk before and like the idea but the 'pro' ones are big and very expensive. This desktop solution seemed a good option for the system I sometimes use at home. The main criteria was that it could safely support two monitors - a 22" and a 27". It's neat but does this fine. The platform is supported by a spring system with two gas struts that take the load and this make finding a good working height quite easy. Two little levers either side of the platform release and lock the position. My only note here is that, because it is a 'sit-on-top' solution, you can lift the whole thing off the desk if you think you're going to be taking the weight of two big monitors. Rest assured, you don't need that heft!I've used this for a few weeks now and I'm generally very pleased with it. A couple of points to note: - I use a full sized keyboard with a number pad and that only just leaves enough useable space on the keyboard shelf for a mouse. However, I've found it more comfortable using the mouse on the main platform so it hasn't been an issue. - There isn't fore & aft adjustment on the keyboard shelf. That hasn't bothered me but may be a consideration for some. - I don't think I could use it comfortably sitting down for any length of time. Even fully lowered, the monitors are too high to work at for any length of time without getting neck ache. You'll only solve this with a dedicated, 'pro' desk but that level of adjustment comes at many times the cost of this. - The unit itself feels robust enough and comes ready to use out the box but there was one flaw in the finish. A small part of the platform edge trim wasn't properly stuck into a curve so there's a wee gap if you look closely. It's a minor cosmetic issue and, at this price, I didn't feel it was serious enough to make it worth returning.

At best this product is recycled or reclaimed as it arrived with scuffs and marks to the supports and edges of the work surface and missing bungs or blocking plugs to the open parts of the tubing construction. It is sturdy and there was no assembly as promised. It is sometimes hard to lift up when converting to the standing position.So overall disappointed. I wont return it as I need a functioning sit and stand work station as I have a bad back and the cost was appropriate for the products condition, not new! but functional! Not the Bargain I had hoped for
