Origin Ties Men's Fashion Handmade Dense Textured 100% Silk Tie

Original review below for details.**This review is for the green tie.This is a gorgeous tie. I plan on keeping it, but I will not buy any more ties from this company. Why? The packaging leaves a firm crease that is a bit of a pain to remove. Why would a company that primarily sells ties package a tie in such a stupid way as to leave a very firm crease where it will be visible when worn?!?The tie arrives in a black envelope, approximately 15" long. When I first saw the package, I thought it looked rather nice. Then I removed the tie and saw a very prominent crease. I have a short torso, but when tied, the crease is below the knot and very visible. It can be removed with an iron on silk setting and a soft cloth to cover the tie with. But I would not order a tie knowing that I would have to spend time ironing it to make it wearable. I have ordered a number of ties online, and this is the first time I have ever received one with any crease, yet alone one so prominent and in a spot that would be visible when worn.Because of the way the tie is folded to fit in the envelope, there are actually two creases, one on the thicker front-facing part, and one on the thinner part that is hidden when the tie is worn. The latter is not such a big deal, but the former is just absurd.Other ties I have purchased online are folded about halfway, so that the crease will not be visible when tied, and then loosely folded so as not to cause additional creases. That is how it should be done.Again, that being said, this is an absolutely gorgeous tie. The green is more of a turquoise/teal color, and it really pops in real life, but the pattern is subtle enough to keep the tie from being too loud. It's very vibrant, but at the same time not too distracting. I would highly recommend it if the company fixed their packaging, or if you do not care about having to iron out a crease on a newly purchased tie.

I ordered 2 of these ties for my son to wear for his choir concert. I took them in the cardboard protective sleeves they came in. Both ties came out of the sleeves with a horrible crease, each in the same part of the tie. There are wrinkle removal instructions in the order email I received but so far short of steaming them, the crease is still there. He looked terrible on stage, the crease in his tie really stood out and I was embarrassed for him. I wish I'd bought a tie locally, but unfortunately I didnt have time to go to the mall and thought these would be nice ties.

At first I had my doubts about my order based on past purchases from other sellers. But when the tie came in I was immediately impressed by the packaging, the presentation, & the width of the tie for once is exactly what I wanted it to be.This seller is very promising on their merchandise & their service. Highly recommended.

Beautiful silk tie! Just as described.And at an awesome price! Even though I received this tie at a discount for my honest review- I will be buying more from this company at full price. They are much cheaper than department stores with the same quality. I highly recommend these ties for the man in your life!

Attractive, well made dress tie. Fabric actually feels a bit thick, making a knot a tiny bit bulky looking, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

It is a nice tie, I looked a little too serious, but that was my choice. Looks good quality. I liked it.
