7 year old very intrigued by artists and their lives, especially as kids. This book is interesting even for adults. The cartoonish illustrations are very fun. We learned alot together. Highly recommend to children who love art and want to learn more about artists than the usual information.

My 11yr old daughter has read this as well as kid authors and kid athletes. She loves them! They are funny, engaging and inspiring. We have also given this book as gifts. Great for any gender child.

I love that this book had a variety of artists since I usually purchase a separate book for each artist we study. It also has a few artists like Jean Michel Basquiat for which I was unable to find a kids book for. I will be able to use this for multiple lessons.

My 9 year old artist is fascinated with this book! It's really a great way of connecting with kids about history! She's learned so much sine she got it for her birthday in December! Highly recommended $
