A new dirty dark romance by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Clarissa Wild! They call me savage. An untamed beast. I was born in the cage. Born to fight. Born to carry its name. Locked away, I’ve spent years waiting for my mate. I'm pent up with need. Brimming with desire. All I want is her... That beautiful girl from the picture on my prison wall. Now she’s finally here, sharing a cell. So close. So hard to resist. But one thing’s for sure… Even if she doesn’t know it yet, she’s already mine . Note: This STANDALONE novel contains disturbing content that may be offensive to some readers. Complete at 120000 words. NO Cliffhanger. Book 1 in the Savage Men Series. Review: Astoundingly Good! - I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Wow, this dark and suspenseful romance BLEW...MY…MIND! I wasn't expecting the turn this story just took; it has quite an unexpected surprise that is jaw-dropping good! Murder, mystery, suspense, kidnapping, cages, torture, thrills, passion, and sex, sex—did I say SEX that is off-the-chart hot, and intrigue that makes it very interesting and compelling to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating story that will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happened next. I was enthralled with the characters of Ella and Cage, but also Syrena and Graham. You get a chance to see the progression of Ella and Cage’s love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues, but loves does prevail. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with—or not. Cage is a savage untamed beast who lives in a cage. Ella is kidnapped and put in a cage, but what happens next is jaw-dropping. Who is the sadistic villain who kidnapped Ella? This is just the beginning of her journey through darkness. Can she find hope, love and trust in Cage to bring her back into the light? Clarissa Wild manages to weave a grippingly dark and twisted plot with artfully developed main characters, and she does a wonderful job of setting the back drop of this story and defining the characters. You felt this story. You lived what Ella lived. You felt her pain and her struggles. Not many authors can write with such intensity that it jumps from the pages into the heart of the reader. There are several twists and turns within the storyline. You will revel with delight in this story with an erotic flare for the sensuous adult in you because there is a lot of unfettered sex, so be warned. If you like dark romances with a dose of risqué and erotic with a pinch of sweetness, you’ll love CAGED. The scenes are well written, fast-paced, and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This book will take you through an emotional journey of loyalty, trust, commitment, and love. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. Can’t wait to read more stories of the other characters! Review: ***4.5 ‘My Dirty Beast’ Stars*** - ***4.5 ‘My Dirty Beast’ Stars*** Yes, I read the description. Yes, I knew that I’d be taken on a h^ll of a mindf*^k (I mean this is Clarissa Wild we are talking about.) But D%mn. I mean talk about having push my reality to the side of a few hours and just accept everything that was thrown at me. Which isn’t easy especially when I had conversations in my head about what true innocence was and what makes someone innocent. And then there was the debate over nature vs. nurture and the line between right and wrong (Yes, my inner geek came out to play. Big Time) Heavy thoughts, I know, my brain is exhausted, but that’s what was swirling around in my head even as I was totally fascinated with what was going on with Ella and Cage and just the situation they were thrust into. It’s all kinds of dark, sweet, smexy and smutty and the insta is extreme, but even with all of that there’s heart mixed into it and it falls into that category of ‘it is what it is’ and it kept me turning the pages til the very end. Ella and Cage absolutely fascinated me. Both of them have, for lack of a better way to describe it, lived in unique worlds, whether it was by their own making or anothers. Cage held more interest for me because I didn’t expect his mind to work the way it did because despite him being a beast, there was a gentleness to him. But Ella was also an enigma and her inner strength belied what her physical appearance made one believe. Their relationship happens in such a sideways manner (total understatement I know) that I swear I have a bad case of whiplash, but within the crazy there was a sense of truth and rightness that made them work, even with the whole insta-dark-OTT feel of the whole situation and even though I’m still working through some things, I’m happy with where they ended up. This book was a true roller coaster ride with all the crazy, dark and twisty things going on, I really am still coming down from all of it but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I will admit though, that I loved the first 50% or so more than the last 50% or so. The first half definitely kept me on my toes and had a much more dark vibe than the second half, which was a little lighter and didn’t feel as frantic. But regardless, the writing was engaging and I loved being inside the characters heads and can’t help but cross my toes that we visit this world again sometime in the future...maybe??? *BSEG* ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

Falls a little short in the second half...
This book is divided into two parts Caged/Uncaged...first thank you Clarissa Wild, I'm not a fan of cliffhangers and the end of Caged is a biggie. While I loved the concept of this story, I didn't love it. Caged was brutal and haunting and hard to read at times, it's hard to imagine the unspeakable things people do in the name of greed and power. I found myself rooting for Cage and Ella, and when they finally make a plan and decided to go for it, as the reader, I needed them to succeed. Well, not so fast, and then we're headed into the second part of the story, Uncaged. I was 15 chapters in and had eye strain from the number of eye rolls I was doing...is this even the same two characters? I hate doing reviews like this, but there were just so many contradictions, that suddenly everything that was built in the first half unraveled and the entire story became unbelievable and uninteresting. I'm sad to say, I stopped there.

My new favorite by Ms. Wild - Cage is MINE!!
Clarissa Wild went dark again – and I loved it! Though love seems like too weak of a word. With CAGED, she stunned me, rendered me breathless and craving more. Inhaling both books in the duet within one day, I think it’s safe to say I have found a new absolute favorite by her – oh my! Adulting was just not possible while more pages of this book were waiting for me. I adore this woman’s writing – dark or not –, but with this one she hit it right out of the park. He’s a savage. A barely tamed beast who has been living in a glass cage his whole life, born to obey, to fight, to kill, to win. That’s his whole world. He knows nothing else. Not what’s right or wrong, what boundaries are, how to read or even what it feels like to have the sun kiss your skin. What he knows though is that he wants Ella. That girl with the long white hair that he saw on a picture. Years ago, Ella lost her voice after tragedy struck and also took something much more precious than that. They call it selective muteness – she is only able to talk to the people she trusts, and to this day, this only includes her parents. And then she is taken – abducted and thrown into a glass cage next to the brute of a man that is Cage. Her purpose one only – to copulate with him and breed future fighters for their captor… Two people who find each other, who fall for one another in the direst of situations. And somehow along the way, Ella is even able to find her voice in front of Cage. They are as different as can be, yet so perfect for each other. Their love is pure and sweet – and everything that it shouldn’t be given the circumstances. Cage – all caveman, rough and possessive, and yet incredibly empathic, protective and even sweet. A child’s heart trapped in a grown and very dangerous and manly body. A walking contradiction, yet the perfect package. So innocent … yet not at all. My heart beat for him from the very beginning. Ella – pure, beautiful and broken, but also so strong and determined. Those two grow so much throughout the course of the two books, the scenery changes, and so do they. It is beautiful and powerful to watch. Seeing them both adapt in different ways, always being exactly what the other need. My heart ached for them, beat for them, broke for them. A captivating – no pun intended – and riveting story from beginning to end, and I am glad to have accompanied them on their journey. Clarissa Wild, thank you for giving us this untamed and wild beast of a man. I cannot wait to read more about Lock! But let me be clear: Cage is *MINE*!!!

GREAT Plot & Characters you'll love.
This was a wonderful read. I truly enjoyed this plot even though it primarily revolves around a very dark subject. It provides a roller coaster of emotions, from hate for some of the characters & furry to compassion & tears for the victims including the one you start out disliking. While the underlying story is unfolding the author has allowed the reader to also witness the primary story of a forbidden love, a love grown from mutual pain, mutual heartache into something strong, unbreakable & eternal. You cannot help but fall in love with the (MMC)"Cage". He is simple an genuine. Even though he doesnt understand many things from being raised in captivity, he has a gentle spirit, soft soul, & giving heart. He means well even when doing bad because to him things are "yes/no" or "black/white" he doesnt understand the world or how people are to behave because he has been taught to live as an untamed beast. To take whatever he wants & to fight to the death. When the (MFC)"Ella" is chosen as his she will turn his world upside down & show him humanity in a different light. Until Ella came, "Cage" had no idea there was even a world beyond his prison walls. You absolutely cannot help but fall in love with Cage; from his sexy rock hard body to his simple unyielding love, & boyish charm he will sweep you off your feet and change your view of his character quickly as these two fight for their lives, their live, their future. I would have given this book more stars if I could have I enjoyed it that much!! I loved "Cage"!! I would take him home in a heartbeat

4.5 stars.
I've read this book three times. I like it because it's different and definitely not boring. Memorable as well. The first half of this book is titled Caged. The h gets kidnapped from her home and ends up in a glass cage. In the next cage over is the H. He's been raised there his whole life and knows nothing of the outside world. Doesn't even know how to read. He's infatuated with her and likes to stare at her. She has selective mutism due to something that happened in her childhood. At the end of Caged, we find out that she's been in there for seven weeks. The second half of the book is titled Uncaged and starts off where the first half ends. I don't want to really say anything about this half of the book because I don't want to give away spoilers. I'll just say that people get hurt, killed, and put on trial in this half. If you're tired of reading the same books over and over, and would like to read something different, then I'd definitely recommend this book set.

Disturbing Beautiful
Cage is a Unforgetable Story that will Stay with me for a long time. 5 stars doesn't even come close to what an Amazing Read this was. I believe this has been the most Powerfully Disturbing Heartwrenching yet the most Beautifulest Overwhelming Love Story EVER!!!!!! I've had to put the book down and just walk away cause I was too emotional to continue reading. Sometimes it was days before I could pick it up again. But the thrall of it always drew me back in. I Needed to know what was going to happen next. Cage's charater will terrify you and melt your hearts too. Ella's will show stregnth and perseverance through things I could't even imagine surviving. Definitely a Must Read if you enjoy being Shocked to the Core and Loves A HEA. Masterfully Written. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book by it's author. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.

Meh - I wouldn't read again at all
Please don't bother with this. the book has a very weird story line. The abuse the MMC endured was horrible and i guess the whole premise is that there are evil people in this world. But I really didn't like it at all.

Love born from captivity
Wow. Intense, sad and engaging all rolled into one. This story had me from the beginning. Seeing two individuals, with sad beginnings somehow eventually end up together, madly in love. Their connection was strong and portrayed beautifully. Cage - born in his cage, born to fight and never knowing the outside existed. Ella - lost her voice as a result of a childhood tragedy. Kidnapped in the middle of the night and awakened in a glass cage. Breeder for the next generation of fighters and Cage's reward. Together they grow infatuated with other and desperate to remain each other's company. Unfortunately their captor controls everything including their food and time. I found the background story and the circumstances that brought these two together was cruel, however it had me loving every step of their journey. Highly recommend.

Ok... not what I expected but good
To be honest I read the blurb saw the word 'mate' and wondered if this was a shifter novel, it's not but I'm not disappointed. Dark romances of this nature are new to me but I have to say this one is well written. The Author really paints a picture of a very dark and seedy world I would hope no human being has to ever encounter. That being said the story of Ella and Cage whilst dark brings some very sweet and very caring moments. It's has an HEA ending but makes u wanna read the rest to discover his brother Lock and everyone else you meet. I also like the poetic justice that happens to the real villain in this story. I also like Cages priority and enjoys what freedom is.. he doesn't care about money only protecting Ella. There are various part that some could find triggering and if kidnapping, the possibility of forced sexual encounters (it doesn't happen in quite that way but some may still find it hard to read) is something that's a no for you then I wouldn't read this but if you can just get through the dark you will find yourself in a world of light

Apesar do pai e do cativeiro ser horrível e angustiante, o amor dos dois é grande. A mocinha é guerreira.

A journey of captivity, freedom and love💖💖
This story was definitely unlike anything I've read. Right from the start when we come to know the story of ella. The first word that comes to mind is sweet and then brave. What an absolute courageous women she is. When Ella is taken away and when she wakes up in her cell, I was so scared along with her and for her. I was so nervous to know what would happen. But that time just gave me shivers yet I would say it was not as dark at least not as dark as compared to some of the books I've read. But then the journey of cage getting acclimated with the outside world and how Ella helps him each step of the way just melted my heart. Even though he is born and brought up as a savage but when it comes to Ella he is nothing but a sweet gentleman. The way he cares for her, provides for her......swoon!!!!!!!
