This wallet is extremely compact and carries my three credit cards, medical cards and folding cash in a very compact form. (I keep my driver's license with my cell phone.) It fits all of my critical cards in about 1/2" thickness. The pebbled surface is rather smooth, so I would carry it in my front pocket in a less secure environment. A suede surface might be preferable to create more friction when the wallet is removed from the pocket.
