These are very high quality replacement shells for the Joy Con, about 1000x better then competing options in terms of texture and fitment! When they say "soft touch" coating they mean it, the feel SO NICE compared to the cheap, glossy finish of other Joy Con shells. Heck, I'd argue that they're nicer than the original grey ones I had on them! I didn't have to cut off or sand down anywhere on these shells either, they just fit perfectly right out of the box. As for the color, at least with the mint green, the product pictures are pretty spot-on. The color is a LITTLE more saturated in person.The only knock I'd give this is that the outer screw holes aren't perfectly threaded and I didn't end up stripping on of the screws (which isn't a big deal because they give you a TON extra). One of the main reasons I ordered this is because it comes with replacement screws actually, a lot of mine were in pretty bad shape from trying one of those crappy transparent shells and my Joy Con ended up kinda loose and creak-y. It was a very frustrating experience and I ended up just not using them up until now. These shells have completely rectified all of these issues, they don't wobble on the rails or creak anymore and I couldn't not be happier with this purchase!tl;dr: These are fantastic, probably better then the original shells! Also just a friendly reminder to take your time and have a video guide handy, this shell swap can be a little challenging if you haven't done it before.

This is a great set. The joycons are a very nice pastel mint color, true to the images. We have gotten housings from other brands in different colors previously and this is the best one we have put together yet. Very smooth process because all of the pieces are made to fit together appropriately, nothing is loose or unusable. I really recommend this brand if you are looking to switch out your joycon housings. It does also come with a little special screwdriver for Nintendo products (the tri wing) and it was useful but we found that a larger tri wing we already owned was better for the final tightening up of all the screws. Like I said, great set, really impressed.

Read the product description carefully. This will come in like 25 pieces and impossible instructions. Missing the joysticks. Worth the extra $15 to buy it no assembly required.

I'd held off modding my Joycons because I'd read online about how hard it was to install. I waited until I had some drifting happen where I figured if I was going to be knee deep in the electronics anyways, I might as well also switch out the casing. My fears were overblown. Watch some videos over how it's done, and assuming you're the type of person who put together Lego kits as a kid, you're pretty capable/qualified to do this.The color I got is striking, the plastic feels good, and the molding is really close to the original so there's no weird rattling or softness to the modded controller.Update: Less then a year after modding these controllers, I have had a weird chip in the paint on the controller. I'm generally pretty careful with the device so I don't know how it happened. This kind of thing doesn't bug me so much, I'll just paint it the color of the controller, but if this worries you it's something to think about.

These look absolutely amazing on! I bought the mint and the heaven blue to have the vibe of the animal crossing edition of the switch. The help video from this company kinda sucks. They have really intense music and no words, so I recommend finding a different walk through when changing out the shells but the actual product looks awesome on. It has a soft touch feel to it, that I almost like better than the original switch shells. They have a good grip when playing high intensity things like Mario party, but overall great product!

These shells are amazing to say the lest. The matte rubber texture on the shells makes them feel nicer than the oem Nintendo shells! I’ve installed several basstop brand joy con shells and these shells went together with 0 issues unlike the basstop version. These shells are 5/5 and I would recommend them to anyone willing to take on the challenge. The mint green color goes awesome with my standard green joycon as well as paired with my white one! I also recently purchased the black shell and i could not be happier. Ever since I had heard there were official black joycons for game developers I’ve always wanted my own black joycon. These shells are just hands down the best customization you could make to your switch. You won’t regret it!!!

Case is great just as pictures. Directions sucked but easy with YouTube videos. Only issue with item is that the y-screwdriver was the wrong size. Beware.

Not the easiest thing to install, it takes time and I strongly recommend following any video tutorial. But the result is awesome! I really like this new look. It feels exactly like the original joycon plastic.Some tips, be really careful about removing and reinserting the flat cables, they can break easily (you have some room, but be careful), and also don't force the zr and zl buttons too much.

This product arrived needing to be put together with so many different tiny components. Difficult and complex to build,unsure why it’s not delivered ready to use!

Piezas que se ajustan perfectamente a los componentes, con unas sensaciones muy conseguidas. Si además modificas los colores almacenados en la memoria de los JoyCon con un programa llamado "Joy-Con_Toolkit", conseguirás que al conectar los mandos, la switch detecte los joycon con los colores que quieras.
