Nexus 6 Case, OBLIQ [Flex Pro][Black] – [Non-Slip Slim Fit] Shock Resistance Soft TPU Jelly Cases - Best Google Nexus 6 cover

I just got this phone in the mail last night, within a few minutes, I could already tell you that I didn't like it and immediately I went online to look at new cases. Essentially I wasted my money on this, but why do I say this?The case is of decent quality, and the grip is solid, the precision of the cuts is nice and clean, and they even left the indent for the Moto symbol so you can keep your finger in the hole for greater control of this Goliath of a device.However, the actual buttons for the volume rocker and the power button are covered by the case. Every time I try to turn the phone on, I struggle to find the power button. There is literally very little in the way for your finger to tell if you are touching either the power button or the volume rocker, or even if you are touching a button in general! This makes the case basically inoperable in my eyes and is a glaring oversight by Obliq's design team.I have already ordered a replacement case from another website that has the power button and volume rocker uncovered so I can access them as if I didn't have a case.Again, the rest of the case is good, but this small issue makes buying this case a big mistake.

I really like it. It looks great (IMO), but I really got this to help with the slipperiness of the Nexus 6; my hands are always dry and the Nexus 6 is REALLY hard to hold onto. The sides of this case provide great traction, but the back is still more slippery than I would like. If the finish was more glossy as opposed to the flat matte finish it has, I think it would be less slippery for those of us with dry hands. The hole cut to display the Motorola logo does help keep a handle on it, and I AM done looking for a case (now, after 3). If you don't have chronic dry hands like I do, you probably won't have a problem at all with it. Anyway, my only other complaint with this case (as it was with the previous 2 cases - both from Orzly) is that it's nearly impossible to find the power and volume buttons by feel alone. If they could just put a little bump or line on the darn button, I would be so grateful.

The case is an OK balance between weight and protection, but the texture on the side that covers the power and volume buttons.. they are virtually impossible to feel. So, I try to turn up the volume and I end up hitting the power button. It happens even when I'm focusing on it, and looking at it. Maybe it is just the phone buttons themselves, maybe I'm not used to their sensitivity. I have had a different phone with a different case that did a better job of "bubbling out" part of the case to let the rocker button work just as well when the case is on. I think this case has gone a little bit too far on the side of looking good and has sacrificed a bit of usefulness. For the price though, I think it is OK. I don't plan on replacing this case, but I might put a bubble sticker over the rocker buttons to make them feel distinct. Funnily enough, the case is made in South Korea, but the phone is unavailable there.

Really like this case! Agree that the power button should stand out more—as well as volume rockers. Should be more like the actual phone buttons. With practice, I've adjusted tho. If that was fixed, 5 stars all the way! Also, the interior design crevices leave oil streaks on the back of my phone that are hard to remove.UPDATE: After almost 4 mos. of use, there is beginning to be some slight discoloration on this case from use, and I have relatively dry, clean hands. Still minor, just showing some wear. I will update again if it begins to be more drastic. I'm very critical, so understand that the discoloration is very slight, and only around the edges.

Pros: It fits wellShould protect the phone very well.Cons: Color choices were not good. I picked the Gray because that was the most normal of the choices available and it does not look good at all.Buttons. I ordered this for my backup phone after I got one of their cases for my G5, but it was not until I got this case that I realized that they made the buttons just a part of the material which makes it very hard to find the right button and makes it hard to feel when a button is pressed. I really wish they would have done what they did on the G5 case and made a separate hard plastic or metal inserts in the TPU that were for the buttons, that would make it much easier to find the right button without looking and to know when you have pressed it.The back is a smooth texture and although I don't feel like this would cause me to drop the phone it does not look or feel as good as the rough texture on the G5 case.Conclusion:Bad color choices and lack of separate raised buttons hurt what could have been an excellent case. At least it does seem like it will provide good protection.

I have had the case for a few weeks now and I really like the color and feel of the case. The texture on the sides of the case helps avoid dropping the phone. Did not give it 5 stars because the case gets dirty on the back throughout the day from setting it down and picking it up so I have to wipe it off. I do sometimes mistake the power key for the volume keys but overall it is a good case and seems to have good protection for the phone.

Absolutely fantastic! Slim design, which is great for a phone this large, and it has great shock absorption! I love it!- Update -I have tried several cases on my Nexus 6, including Google's own live case. I kep coming back to this one. It does not scratch the phone at all, and provides enough of a lip to protect the screen while face down. This is the best case i have found for this phone. The only problem i have found with it is that the buttons are flush. Eg, all three buttons (power, vol+, vol-) are right next to each other, and it is difficult to hit the button you are looking for on the first try.

Loved the case at first. Liked the color (call it 1950s inspired?) and the fact it shows the Motorola logo! Fit like a glove too. Biggest complaint right away was the buttons are hard to feel. But I lived with that. Wasn't long though before it started to darken and turn brownish where my hand touches it. Shame. It was a very nice case otherwise. Had to ditch it and go back to my more basic black cover.
