Schlage M540-051, Follower Tool, Plastic

Awesome follower. Worked perfectly. My kit came with a one style aluminum follower that didn’t marry to a duckbill style cylinder. This follower married perfectly with a nice fit.

I rekeyed all the new locks we just bought for the house, and it is a big improvement over the one that came in the kit with all the pins. I finished them the other evening, and aside from my own mistakes, it performed perfectly

This tool worked perfectly to allow me to rekey my schlage lock. I am only giving it 4 Stars due to the fact the item had some excess flashing from the manufacturing process which i needed to sand off prior to use

This is a must have for Schlage door knob rekeying. It makes removing the pins way easier to rekey. It holds all the pins perfectly and allows you to pull out the cylinder with ease.

Works well as long as you know proper orientation to keep upper pins in place while replacing the coded pins.

Great follow tool for changing pins in locks

I've seen some people use a 1/2" wood dowel but this wasn't expensive and I have a few locks to re-pin. My first attempt was a massive, total failure (no fault of the tool, just the user). But once I got the hang of it, this tool works great.

If you are working on repinning locks, this is a must have
