Poorly written, the book contradicts itself and stereotypes different cultures. Glad I am almost done with this course. When I received the book as a rental from amazon it was already heavily highlighted. This book is also heavily biased compares smoking and drinking alcohol with taking an antidepressant which are completely different things that should not be held in the same light

Bought this book for a final semester class. Didnt read it that much at the end of the day because the instructors had a second book that was more of a summary of this one and made for an easier read. But this one was packed full of important community health nursing info. Not just easily readable or mobile (quite heavy). I'd say better for referencing

Good for the class I was taking. Rentals were easy to order and return. Great price.
