Michaels of Brooklyn Pasta Sauce, Arrabbiata, 32 oz

Easily the best store-bought pasta sauce brand ever. Let's just say that "my current arrangements" aren't suitable for cooking up a storm like I once did, so it's great to have a quality product to rely on that doesn't require doctoring up to be edible. Fit's my low carb diet nicely which is a huge plus, great taste, appropriate heat, and my meatballs loved it.

Not a particular fan of store bought sauces until I tried this product, heat and serve with great flavor and good flavor is a plus for me. Intend adding a few jars to my pantry.

Do you hate the overly sweet, name brand pasta sauces? Me too. Do you like Rao's arrabbiata sauce, but feel like you need to branch out? Me too. This sauce tastes like it started in a small Brooklyn apartment and was given as gifts to Mike's family and friends for years until they finally convinced him to quit that crappy job he hated and make arrabbiata sauce full time. Mike left that job and horrible commute and never looked back, and now we can all enjoy his sauce. Ok, so I don't know if that's how the story goes, but this sauce tastes like that... that friend who always gets that one dish, sauce, or dessert perfect, and when you walk into that tiny, stuffy, steamy kitchen, you know it's going to be good. It is. Just get it and throw in some sausage, meatballs, parmesan, whatever you're into, or have it plain. Enjoy! That's what Mike wants.

pricey but the taste is amazing

Boy oh boy was this good!! I understand why they bottled this stuff. I did put a little sugar in it but it was not too bad almost as good as mine. Jars are very large which is great. I got a small lasagna and Italian meatball subs out of 2 jars. So glad I found this when I don’t feel like making sauce myself

Usually I make my own sauce but decided to try this one for an occasion when I need to save time.I liked the simple ingredients list. The price is high but decided to give it a shot.Even though there is no sugar in the sauce, it tastes very sweet to me. I don’t like sauce to taste sweet.For me, not worth it without doctoring it up which defeats the purpose. When I added some plain cheap tomato sauce it improved it for me.It seems like a quality product but it’s not worth it for me. If you like a sweeter sauce you may love it.
