CRKT Woods Kangee Tomahawk Sheath: Full Grained Leather, Multiple Snaps, Belt Loops for Secure Carry of T-Hawk D2735

bought one of these in April of 2020 bought a 2nd one October of 2021. The first one was thick, and soft leather; the other was thin, dry, brittle very dark leather. just another way of hiding how worthless the dollar has become same price, cheaper quality

This awesome CRKT scabbard fits American Tomahawk Company's spike tomahawk, too. It's good leather, with a belt loop, and it holds my hawk securely. I don't think I can shake it loose or end up with sharp edges exposed under normal usage.I had received the tomahawk itself as a gift, and it's nice. I'd recommend athletic tape instead of the alien pros synthetic stuff I used on my handle, btw. I used the alien for both tennis racquets, but didn't do a great job. If you use the alien pros, run both strips together in parallel, not one after another like I did. I got a lump in the middle because I did it the wrong way.

This tomahawk / Axe is awesome and very lightweight & perfect for backpacking with & having a reliable dependable tool with you for firewood. And is very sharp & cuts & chops great & nicely balanced and swings like nothing I ever have worked with before & with very little effort getting the job done. And it's awesome to play around with & having a throwing tomahawk on you! I definitely would recommend this for anyone looking to have lightweight on them when backpacking or being able to be comfortable & very easy on them to chop wood for firewood. Great Tomahawk. The only thing I wish definitely & don't like is that it doesn't already come with a leather sheath for the head of the tomahawk & sold separately & quite expensive for having a extra accessory for this when it is already expensive as well. But definitely worth purchasing and having.

When I first opened the package I knew immediately that it was 100% leather from the amazing smell. But I gave it 4 stars because it had plastic snap buttons (which can be fixed) but for 25 bucks I would at least expect bronze buttons. Also the strap that attached to the upper handle was a bit too tight and the slightest bump unbuttoned the strap. I left the strap buttoned on handle for about 8 hours and it stretched it enough to withstand being roughed up a bit more without unbuttoning. But overall the look of the tomahawk is even more badass with this sheath and the craftsmanship of the leather is outstanding.

It's a great sheath my only complaint it that it should of came with the tomahawk originally instead having to make an extra purchase.

The sheath did not fit my tomahawk, so it was returned. Looks to be well made, but did not fit the back end of my tomahawk.

Kinda flemsy. Not worth price. If it came with the hawk it would be 5 stars

Carries the Kangee just fine. Loses stars because your belt needs to be adequately small (the belt loop is on the smaller side) and just forget about MOLLE-ing this anywhere. Considering the Kangee is carbon steel, I don’t know how highly I would recommend a leather carrier, which holds water, but leave the decision at your discretion. The quality is there.

Saw this on a flash sale and just had to get it. I've had the axe for 6-7 years without a sheath when this one popped up.I keep it beside my bed as I found the metal is not hard enough to survive being used in the field. Seems to me the sheath is built in a similar fashion. Looks good and the craftsmanship is fine, but I doubt it would take the wear and tear of hard practical use.Worth the price I paid however, no regrets here.

I have a couple CRKT axe sheaths and they are all nicely made. My only complaint is the leather is a little thin around the belt loops. I wish they had left a little more material in those areas. So far they have held up well but I could see it becoming a problem down the road.

CRKT only sells quality items and this Axe not only holds a razors edge it’s quite nice to look at as well and it’s a pleasure to use. The axe mask/sheath really brings the two items together visually and it makes the axe very comfortable to carry on the hip. Highly recommend.
