Tippmann Gryphon Paintball Marker Gun 3Skull 4+1 BC Mega Set - Black

The Tippmann Gryphon Paintball value pack is a great gun for beginners and occasional usage from the experienced. I had the chance to use this package at my local paintball park (Hollywood sports, CA) and am satisfied with the the overall outcome. Below I will list the strengths and weaknesses of the gun as well as the equipment.Strengths:1) Cost Effective: The package is worth the money and has everything you need when paint balling.2) Equipment: Extra pods come in handy for scenario games or for the liberal shooter. Comes with 20oz CO2 Tank and gun cleaning equipment to keep the gun in shape for a long time.3) Tippmann Gryphon Marker: a)The gun shoots consistently right out of the box taking 5 shots with the chrono ( 248, 252, 246, 253, 251). At the time I did not know, but there is a hole on the left side of the trigger frame that fits an allen key that lets you increase the speed of the paintballs. b) Extremely lightweight and very comfortable to hold onto the front handle. c) Fairly Accurate* (I upgraded to a 14" CP barrel and saw better accuracy)Weaknesses:1) Pod Belt: For me, the pod belt stuck out from my hips which can expose you behind corner cover.2) Tippmann Gryphon: a) Upgradeability: This marker does not have any significant upgrades. This is a great beginner gun, but that's it. b) Trigger Pull: Long trigger pull. Slower rate of fire, if you're into that sort of thing. c) Maintenance: The regular cleaning and lubing should do the trick; however, taking apart this marker is doable, but requires a great deal of time and energy to do so. d) Plastic body: While I do not expect to be slamming my marker into walls, the composite body is susceptible to cracks and scratches. This does not mean that it is fragile by any means, just a warning for the clumsy.Overall: 4/5 starsMy overall impression is that this is a great gateway to get into paint balling. All necessary items to paintball come in this package, and at the end of the day it does its job. Tippmann provides some of the most durable and reliable paintball products, and this is no different. If you're new to paintball or just want to play a few times a year then this will be more your speed.My final recommendations to enhance your experience for this package set is to upgrade the barrel to at least a 14". (The barrel thread is a5 and .68 bore). Also, consider using High Pressured Air (HPA tank) rather than the CO2, you will achieve better consistency and some accuracy.

This product came with in 2 days it should of came in 7-10 days I was so glad and all the accessories that it comes with are better than the ones you see,you get an empire helmet and the harness and pods are very good quality were as the new the advertised picture they look cheap. Great gun can't doubt it love it extremely good accessories and impressed with what I got. Good job zephyr I'll buy from these guys when I can.

Watch what color u buy. Different colors come with different packages. Ordered 2, one black one red, black came with cheaper mask and accesories.

Cn't beat the price and the quality is great for beginners not ready to drop $700 on a fancy gun and gear.
