HODEDAH IMPORT 2 Door Wardrobe with Adjustable/Removable Shelves & Hanging Rod, Beech

I know it is odd that I would give this a five-star rating with only one-star for ease of assembling. I am a senior woman trying to assemble this armoire myself. The main parts were simply too heavy (and confusing) for me to work with. So, I asked for a refund. This company went above and beyond, in a short period of time, to resolve this for me. This is one of the best customer support people I have ever come across.

Probably the worst thing I've bought on Amazon, and that's saying something. Had to have three pieces replaced because they were broke beyond use and the replacements were almost as bad. Had to scrub the crap out of it because the pieces came filthy and every single piece was scratched, dented, or warped. The doors aren't even and the instructions were pitiful and confusing. Please buy something else.

Ordered this wardrobe for extra storage in my spa office. I was worried after reading some of the other reviews that the cabinet would show up shattered and that sending it back was going to be hell. The only dings on this cabinet are the ones I made while putting it together by myself. Took me about 2 1/2 hour, it wasn't that hard but and an extra set of hands would have been helpful. I have two kitchen islands also chocolate in colour waiting to be put together. Hope they match. I do wish it came in two boxes, easier to move.

The media could not be loaded. At first glance, it looks good, but when you start to look closer, you notice a lot of faults/issues.The structure itself is not sturdy. It leans to one side which causes other issues. We had to wedge something under the bottom left corner to straighten it. Without that, it leans to the side, makes the doors uneven, and causes the left door to rub at the top as you open and close it. One of the top screws we received was defective and unusable, which probably added to the overall instability. It did take some time to assemble, but it was relatively easy to do. The only issue were that some cracks and breakages were very noticeable and we had to color them in with black marker and I’m not sure why it chips so easily. The worst thing is that it is not deep enough to hang adult hangers. The length of the hanger is too long for the depth of the structure so when you hang adult clothes, you have to hang them at an angle which minimizes the use of the space. That’s very disappointing.

The media could not be loaded. It is a solid and good (not great product. It came damaged - but because it is so HEAVY - the small cosmetic damage was not worth the return . Putting g this together was also a feat! You definitly need 2 people and the pictures are not representative of the assembly. About 1/2 the pieces were labeled the others were not - we spent a lot of time organizing before so that we could guess what part was what, based off a process of elimination and looking at the pictures

It has been a nightmare dealing with these closets. The boxes arrived open and a broken piece fell out as soon as I tried pulling out the parts. I figured it wasn’t a major piece and could probably still salvage the purchase but there holes missing where screws needed to go and the directions were impossible to read! The material is pressed wood and didn’t seem like it was going to go for the long haul. I finally decided to return the closet only to find out that I would have to pay $300 for shipping if I wanted to return the product. Needless to say, I’m stuck with two of these because it’s cheaper than returning them!! 😣😣😣

This is really a beautiful piece, when you consider the price! I had ordered 2 other cabinets similar to this. The first one isn’t near as nice looking. The second one got sent back from UPS, because of damage. Ordered this one and I wish I could order this one again!

This product in itself works like it should. The problem is the laziness of the packers. Many of the pieces were seen to have been just thrown into the box and scraped against each other. One piece came with trim on it and when I opened the box the trim was broken into four pieces. I had no issues getting it all together and it looks pretty good except that where the trim piece was has broken edges and staples stick in it.

The laminate finish smells awful. I am a journeyman carpenter, I built it well, despite that it is wobbly, when you open and close the doors it shakes and moves.
