SATA to eSATA Molded Extension Cable

The female connector/end doesn't feel terribly secure on these, just breathing on it will make it disconnect maybe...otherwise these seem pretty good.

What can I say? This adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can connect a standard internal SATA HDD to my external SATA port. Of course I still need to supply power to my HDD since this adapter is only designed for data transfer (like all SATA internal connections) My advice is to get a SATA HDD to USB adapter but only use the SATA power adapter but use this for the eSATA port which is faster than USB. Just in case you were wondering about data transfer speed ranks here they are:USB 2.0 < SATA 2USB 3.0 > SATA 2USB 3.0 < SATA 3

Obviously for some they work, but I tried two, and neither had any data connection at all. All other parts in the "chain" function flawlessly.

It is one of those things you don't need often but it works well when nedded (don't hace esata to go yo external drive - hook this to cable and do your backups)

Just a quick tool for your kit, when you already have all the SATA cables, but need an ESATA to attach to a Multi TB external HD.

Not everybody has a need for these adapters but they do come in handy converting one type of connector to another. These do the job nicely.

Finally was able to use eSata with storage device. Purchased one eSata cable from a different vendor a year ago but it never worked!
