I’m impressed with this book! My daughter is 2.5yrs and it’s just the right level to introduce the most important concepts- helping, inclusion, showing respect and showing you care. The language is simple but the ideas will evolve with her over the next few years. I’m buying whatever this author is writing!!! Thank you:)

Never too early to teach our children the virtues of being kind.
I was looking to do a program for a Daisies Troop (5-6 year olds), on the values of being kind to themselves and others and this book is perfect! I purchased some books and they didn’t quite fit the bill as well as this one does. Well written and illustrated, I would definitely recommend it!

Powerful book for spreading kindness!
I read this book to my daughter only one time and she started repeating the phrases all day! I want my kids to make an effort to be kind, and this book encouraged just that! Also loved the kindness challenge at the end of the book! If every parent read books like this to their kids, I can imagine how quickly the kindness would spread. Highly recommend!

6 yr old granddaughter loved it
She took it to her classroom and her teacher read it to the whole 1st grade class. It has a great lesson on how to treat others that is hidden in the story instead of just telling young children HOW they should act.

Mistakes
I'm a teacher and we were looking for books to use as part of the upcoming anti-bullying week and there is a mistake with an apostrophe and the author has used the word 'alot'- this isn't a word and I'm staggered this didn't get highlighted by anyone before going to print. The content is otherwise lovely but I think mistakes at this level are unacceptable.

Very well written, four year old definitely approved
Really good book only knocked off a star as it was really overpriced for what you got. However brilliantly written and got the message through exceptionally well. In fact my daughter aged 4 took it to school and her teacher liked it so much she read it to the class. Even now we chant the message mantra that appears on most pages and she will often choose it as a bed time book.

Good story
Not what I was expecting, book is very thin & can't see it lasting long unfortunately. But the story is good & easy for younger children to understand.

Not great but not awful.
This book is ok. It has a sweet sentiment and does do quite well teaching children how to be kind. I just find it a little boring to read and my 6 year old isn't very keen to read it. He has other 'kindness' books that he prefers. You. Me and Empathy is a particular favourite.
