I enjoyed this book very much. It provides the reader with thought provoking insight into areas of crisis.

I likeIt because it gave me a lot of light in helping people in crisis. I live the separate type of diagnosis and then the intervention.

Crisis Counseling provides practical examples and advice to help care givers counsel others through crisis situations. Howard Stone manages to give great advice without using overly technical jargon, making his book an easy read for the uninitiated.

This material is just what I expected sort of because it puts things in order for practical uses to any one seeking a guide to counseling and it makes one aware of their present approach to the matters at hand.
