DecoGlow Birch Bark Votive, 3-Piece Set

These are beautiful to look at but not practical to use. I bought these to burn votive candles in. The first time I used one, the wax between the glass candel holder and the wood decoration on the outside, melted. I don't know why they would use wax to hold the wood onto the glass knowing there would be a flame inside the glass that would melt the wax. One of the candel holders glass cracked and another one caught the wood on fire. I would not be able to recommend these unless you don't ever plan to light a candel in them.

Shipping was fast. The bark on the candles was saturated with the candle wax, which was a light caramel color, so the candles were not classic white birch, but brownish. They were not what I expected, but fortuately still worked OK for my arrangement - though white is what I really wanted. The biggest problem however is that the candles do not burn properly. The flame is so low you can hardly tell it is burning and they often just go out by themselves so.... no bueno right? A candle should burn.

Very pretty design and smells great. Love that each candle in pack is a little different than the other. Smaller than I expected but it will still work.

I'm returning these. Item description says 3"x4" candle. They are SMALL VOTIVE candles maybe 1.5"x2". And it would be nice if they all looked similar in color or markings. 1 candle has huge black mark in birch wood which would be okay as long as they all looked similar , in other words 1 candle doesn't match the other 2.

So so so cute! Actually textured, not just a printed design. Other reviewers mentioned them being a bit waxy...they are, but you can't tell until you actually touch them. Votive underneath is a nice heavy feeling glass. Cheap alternative to all the expensive birch products and still look realistic! Smell great too!

I was a little surprised by the waxy covering but otherwise I love these candles. They fit perfectly with my home's decor and have a pleasing fragrance even when not lighted. They were delivered within the estimated delivery dates. Very satisfied, indeed.
