My Son Loves His New Bat
Bought this bat for my 12-year-old son from "Rounding Third Sports" through Amazon. He selected the one he wanted, and my wife and I bought it for him as a gift. (He plays summer ball and the fiberglass on his old bat had started peeling. Apparently, peeling fiberglass makes a bat unsafe for use.) He got it in 31". It's a "drop 11" model, so it's 20 oz. He hit a double with it off a pretty fast pitcher (50 - 60 mph) on his last at bat of the first game he played with it. He pulled it over the left fielder's head, two bounces to the wall. (Forgive my indulgence in a little celebrating. ;-) He couldn't be happier. He says it feels solid on contact and that it has a large sweet spot. Price was good. Delivered on time.

My grandson had a -13 last year Marucci team bat and loved it.He had a lot of nice hits with the bat.He wanted the black for next baseball season and he will be so happy this Christmas!!He is 12 yrs old and we bought the 31-20 which I think he can handle.Now we went to use it and found out that it is the 2012 model and not the bat I payed for.I would like to exchange this bat.
