i wonder where is the temperature sensor on the new model - no sensor wire coming of the board. also not sure if it is a balancing board or not as one reviewer states.will upgrade the stars later when it all works and i know where the temperature sensor is.update1 may 2 2023: took me about 3 hours to do the entire installation. i wish the instruction would have been in better english (probably google translate can do a better job). anyways, so far the ebike display is live again and i will test drive and charge it soon. still i would not recommend to buy this BMS.Update2 may 3 2023: from all i can tell the genze e102 ebike drove as well as before. With original charger it. Charged the pack to 41.7V. i charged from 2 out of 5 bars and total energy was 140Wh. The battery is a 10s 3p type. All groups were discharged due to 0.3V due to BMS fault i assume.update3 may8: i charged the batter a few times and all seemed ok but i could not verify the balancing feature because i did not monitor the individual cell groups.However, during one measurement i accidentally shorted the output leads and that seemed to have killed the output stage, no more voltage at output but charging still worked.My conclusion is that this BMS does not hav a short circuit protection which i find very bad and i therefore do not recommend this BMS until you consider exactly its limitations. remember it also has no temperature sensor and the seller did not respond to my questions.

after five minutes of riding it failed.sounds like i'm not the only one with similar problems.mostly just a pain to replace, then replace again. buy the better one.

This BMS likely works, but after wiring it up according to the diagram, the board did not allow the battery to take a charge. It did allow the battery to drive the load. I then read the step by step instructions (they are VERY confusing and contradictory in places). I did some online research as well. When I hook the negative of the charger to the P- port, charging works and load works. I have no idea if, when wired in this configuration, the BMS will function.Bottom line, this product may work but without better install instructions it's impossible to say. Buy a DALY instead. Much more thorough install guide and more robust product for only a few bucks more.

After using for several months it has started acting up, causing power faults with my Grin charger. Went and purchased a Daly BMS that is an intelligent BMS with Bluetooth interface.

No Balancing. Few cells at 4.2, Some 4.0, Some 3.8 etc. Left it plugged in for several hours. No change, no trickle charge of low cells. This BMS has no balancing function.

Used it like it was supposed to on a 36v battery and it was for a electric scooter it worked for 30 min and then burned out

I ordered this for my first 10s1p battery 42v at maxed chargge. Works great and does what it says it does. I just think it's too expensive. But I ordered it anyways cuzz I needed it. Works!

I wired it up to my 10s 4p battery and when charging the bms would only allow the battery to charge to 40v not 42v. Also, the BMS had no balancing function cell voltages ranged from 2.7v-3.5v when fully discharged and when fully charged it ranged from 3.6v-4.1v. If any one is reading this go daly bms's they work.
