The style is what I was looking for (not too much cowboy) and the size was perfect for me.

I almost canceled this hat because it was so late. I was tracking the package it shipped and appeared to be traveling via Stage Coach. It got one state away and didn’t move for several days. Then one day the status changed to not shipped for a few days. Then it shipped and I got it a few days later. I very much like this hat. It is comfortable and looks good even on my big head

The hat was delivered in perfect condition today, and I have already worn it to the market, and got compliments on it. It was cold and drizzly outside. The hat is a size Large, and i wear a size 7 3/8, so it was a little big. I put a strip of double sided foam tape behind the hatband and now it fits perfectly. The only con I see is like other commenters, the crown of the hat is too low by half an inch to an inch, so it touches the top of my head because of the dent on top of the hat. If the crown was taller, it would sit more securely on the head. Still, I am very happy with the hat and it will be my winter, knock-around hat, fishing and hiking hat for cold weather. I like the color and so does my wife, she didn't want me to get the black hat. The hat feels soft and comfy, but seems to hold its shape well even after rolling it up.The hat's color is actually darker and toastier than it is in the photo, very nice.I got a cord chinstrap to hold it on in the winds, we get strong winds in the desert and I don't want to have to chase it through the cactus if it blows off.

I really enjoy this hat. I wear a size 7 1/8" so I ordered the medium based on other reviews and the sizing chart. I probably could have ordered the small. Wool tends to stretch nicely with use and not really shrink. I tried to get this hat to shrink as it's not massively big but it's more in the 7 1/2" size with the elastic band inside allowing it to stay on my head fairly loosely. It doesn't shrink. I don't like using foam fillers to size down a hat. I'd rather it just fit.My father in law seemed to like it and he's got a bigger head, so I'll order the small and give him the medium. Overall, it's a fantastic hat. Well made and stands up to rain and snow just fine. Sizing is the only issue.

Got out a steamer to roll the brim just a bit flatter...shipped from China (!) with a rather rolled up brim. Very comfy, good deal

The medium just sank over my head. Got it very wet and hung it inside the dryer door to shrink. It now fits like a glove and is my favorite. Super comfy.

I'm one of those guys with a big head and it's difficult for me to find a hat that actually fits. I ordered the 2X hat and it fits perfectly. I get compliments every time I wear the hat.

I love the hat. Very good quality. It is more like Fedora style, not really a cowboy hat.

If there was a need I would have kept it

Awesome quality! This is an authentic cowboy hat not a cheap cosplay prop...a lot of time and love went into this I am very happy with the quality and shipping speed of what I ordered worth every dollar.... it looks freaking awesome!!!!!! Surprised that its %100 wool doesn't feel like a typical wool sweater... you might want to order a size up for thick hair.

Great hat but the crown is not tall enough for my head I have to slightly bulg it put to get a good fit but I love the hat so far.

It sure looks good and protects from son heat

I hate umbrellas but I live in the Mid-Atlantic which has mostly rain/sleet all winter long. I wear this hat with my rain jacket and it keeps me dry shoulders up. Very comfortable. I have a very large head and this is the only head wear I’ve ever bought on line that is a little large on my head. I forgot what size but I probably ordered the largest size and hoped it would not be too snug. But it stays on except for one wind gust so I chose not to exchange it.
