Good Guitar
Picked up the orange guitar. Color is very nice. Workmanship is like other Fireflys, ok but not perfect. Main thing I had to do is correct the neck which had a lot of backbow. Also had one fret that was way too high and few others that were a little off. Once the neck problems were fixed, I was happy. This guitar is fun to play. I may not do anymore to it, but if I do, I’d focus on locking tuners. Bang for buck, this guitar has it. If you feel you need a mid to high end guitar, then this one might not be for you.

Good Beginners Guitar
I have Firefly semi hollow body guitar and had higher hopes for this guitar. If you are looking for a guitar to give a kid as a starting guitar, it is ok. Some folks receiving this guitar seem to have had better luck then I did. I was on the verge of returning it. Out of the box, it was playable for cowboy chords. But playing lead licks up the neck, the action was higher than I like. So I set out to do a standard setup. I did checked the relief on the neck, and adjusted it a little bit to flatten it out the way I do on my strats and other tele. I set the string height to Fender spec, and set the intonation as best as possible. Bear in mind this is a three piece bridge, so you will never get all of the strings intonated, but this is the way the Telecaster was. After everything was setup the way I usually do it, I checked for buzzes, and this neck had lots of them. Mostly on the low strings. I played with it a while, and decided I don't like the neck at all. It is a little thicker than I like, and I don't like the fake yellow stain they put on the maple neck. I got the guitar playing the way I want, but only after doing a fret level, crowning, and polish. It's still not a neck I like, so I am going to replace the neck. The body was nicely finished, and hardware is acceptable. I like the sound of the pickups but will probably lower them a little because they are pretty hot compare to my other tele. They sound decent though. It's a decent guitar for 135 dollars.

Great guitar great price
Got my firefly today and could not ask for more. was perfect right out the box. Just tuned it up no adjustments needed. Was jamming in 5 minutes. The quality is just as good as $900 Fender starcaster.

Excellent value
The creamsicle color is quite attractive. Weight and feel of the guitar is quite solid. Build quality is very good. Only problem was that the strings were poor and the action was high. Replacement strings and a set up later and this Telecaster Thinline knockoff is an excellent value. Very happy with the overall tone. A keeper with no regrets.

Another Wonderful Firefly Guitar!
What’s not to like on a very light weight (around 5 1/2 lbs) “creamsicle” colored thinline? Frets and fretboard dressed very nicely, “Tele” toned bridge pup and lipstick at the neck give it all the twang you need. Body finish was near flawless, with maple neck/fretboard. Decent tuners/bridge that do their job. Way more guitar than price would indicate! Buy one when you can.

First Impressions are Good!
The orange Firefly semi-hollow tele showed up this afternoon. Fit and finish is good. There a couple tiny imperfections in the paint on the back and a pinhead dent in the back of the head-stock. I've seen much more expensive guitars with way more issues than this out of the box. Factory strings are meh. Appear to be D'Addario, but I'll change them to Elixir Nanowebs later. (personal preference) Bridge can be strung through body or top loaded. Nut width according to my ruler is 1 5/8" Neck radius is pretty flat. I'm thinking 16" radius. Action out of the box is 4/64" low E side and 3/64" high E side. Neck relief was good. No sharp fret ends. Nut is cut okay. Frets are nice and shiny. No oxidation and no need to polish them. Neck is chunky in a good way. Body width is 1 3/4". Binding looks good. Neck has a light satin finish. Nice and smooth, not thick and sticky. It's very light. 6.001 lbs according to my kitchen scale. Pots are a bit stiff. They'll probably loosen up some over time. 3-way switch is fine. Pickups are okay.

Very Tele-Esque
This is the 3rd Firefly Guitar I have purchased. Every thing on the guitar is really cool. It has all the spank you would expect from a Tele. Sound is excellent and the feel is great. Setup, uh, might need a little done as the action seems high. Won't know until the weekend when I have time to check it all out. Fit and finish are ok. there are some blemishes and the binding is painted on but what can you expect from $140 guitar. But even at that seems to be very good quality and solid build. I don't expect to be gigging every night with it, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it to some of the blues jams in my area. I own and have owned many big name brand instruments and feel the chinese manufacturers are really getting up to par with many US manufacturers with the quality.

Playable out of the Box!
Having so much fun playing I haven't even checked the setup yet! Seller says they will soon offer Strat style. That will complete my Firefly collection! Great guitars and great seller!
