Wonderful sock locks reduce laundry sorting woes!
As a mother of 8 children, I used to hate sorting socks! But socklocks have changed laundry of socks from the worst to being the easiest! In my family, each person is assigned a different color for their sock locks. Sock locks go on to the pair of socks when the person takes their socks off and before putting in their laundry hamper. They stay on through washing, drying, sorting (sorting is a dream with these on!) and into the family members' drawers. Mine have held up for over fifteen years and I am only now starting to get replacements. The only complaint I would have is that when I ordered the sock locks this time, the site said they were assorted colors. There are two colors to each package. I was trying to get a bunch for my married children to use in their families now, too. Unfortunately, the packages were almost all the same two colors. The quality of the product is still excellent, tho,' so I still gave five stars.

As advertised
A pain to cut off all the plastic flashing and had to us a razor blade to make it smooth so it didn't tear my socks

Handiest thing ever!
I use these all the time. Why wouldn't I? They make laundering socks SO much simpler. Put a SockLock on your socks when you take them off and that's it. No more sorting socks, no more mating socks, no more folding socks and no more lost socks! Just throw 'em in the sock drawer and they'll both be waiting when it's their turn!Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is cause they don't last forever, BUT they do last a long time. Great product!

Holds any pair of socks that I have - here's a tip.
So far, they've worked great. Just what I needed to replace my old ones that were wearing out after about 8 or 10 years (I don't know what brand). For those that are saying that they are too small for two men's socks, try this:1: Hold both socks together open end up.2: Put your forefinger in one of the socks and push the side of both socks into the holder about 1 inch from the top3: Pull both socks piece that was pushed into the holder through the holder about 1/2 inch. This approiach works great. I can connect any of my socks using this method. They stay together in the laundry and this approach is less likely to pull or damage the socks when remopving the holder.Great job Amazon.

Thin, weak, fragile material
I live in an apt and have to go to community laundry. Was HOPING for a solution to the "Lost Sock" mystery. Gave these a try. It was a miserable failure! Very small to try and push 2 socks through the loop ( per directions). Very thin plastic material. 3 of the 5 I used, broke in first with. They were thin dress socks! Cant imagine trying with athletic socks. So this product failed to I will continue to find the ultimate " sock keeper". Will NOT buy again.

Not connected properly, overpriced
Too expensive for what they are, probably worth $1 at most. But I find them really handy for keeping socks mated in laundry. Bought them b/c I haven't been able to find them easily elsewhere. However this set isn't connected in sets of 2 as they should be, so when you separate them you can end up with 1, which is really too small to shove 2 socks through.

Your socks will thank you! Believe negative reviews are misguided due to lack of product understanding.
My fiancee turned me on to these, and they are 100% a life-changer. I LOVE fun/crazy dress socks, and the best part of the sock locks is that your socks don't get stretched out. Doing the traditional roll where you roll one sock into the top of the other stretches out the socks and dress socks then will slide down and bunch up around the ankle. By binding a pair of socks together via the toes, my socks never have this happen any more. It also ensures your socks don't fall prey to the sock-monster that lives in the washer/dryer.I believe that people with negative reviews did not use correctly or did not understand how to utilize. A lot of people stated that they "fell apart" "came apart" etc. in the first wash. There is only one ring piece on each set of six that is supposed to stay together (the bottom set in the picture where you can see a clear binder between them vs the small easily detachable piece of plastic). The other 4 are meant to be stand-alone rings. Each ring fits two socks (1 pair) in it, and the last set that is bound together is meant for your heavy duty wool socks. I also utilize this double ring to hold two pairs of gym socks, as I change into a fresh pair after the gym and then I know I always have a pair ready for the gym and after when I throw it into my gym bag in the morning. The rings come in any two colors they have ready, and you do not pick the color, you get what you get.

Hard to find these!
My elderly father buys socks all the same, except they aren't always the same length. He has very limited vision, determines by feel which socks are the same length, and relies on sock locks to keep same length socks together. We couldn't them in local stores to replace old ones that are brittle and broken, so I was very happy to find these on line at a good price. You can see in the product photos that only two of the six are attached; the rest are singles, which are not much use. If all the locks were attached, my rating would be 5 stars; single sock locks are not much use. I use cable ties on the other four; so out of the 24 locks in a package, he now has 12 (instead of 4) that are usable to keep socks in pairs.
