Nora Roberts's Bride Quartet Kindle Edition

I read a lot, meaning thousands of great stories. I have read books from childhood, through my teens, adulthood and finally as a senior. Now that I an retired, reading is my happy time. I do a lot of other things as well, but my reading has always been my personal time. This series made me cry sad and happy tears that rolled down my face many times. Nora Roberts is a great storyteller and very detail oriented. I've read many of her books, but this series really touched me. If you are an avid reader, this book will not disappoint you. Enjoy!

This is a life story of 4 now women and how their paths have kept them together in business as they started their working careers. It's a story about passion in many things. They all do what they love and their individual passions meshed into an entertaining business. It's just good reading with love, mystery, fear, how to survive bad parents and enduring respect and love for each other. It's a good feeling read. Nice on a warm day inside during a pandemic. I also read this in paperback and have now put in in my Kindle library. I have read it multiple times and my daughter took the paperbacks to read them for her first time.

I remember the first time I read these books and going crazy waiting for the fourth book to come out. When I finished it I couldn’t wait to give it to my friend. That was a long time ago. I still think these are some of Nora Roberts best books. (Not counting the magicals, of course). Each book is unique, featuring one of the friends but including all of them. I still want to know if they had children. If their children were friends and what happened with their lives and businesses. I’ve now given these books as to my daughters-in-law and younger friends. They all pass them on and I have never had any returned. So I happily buy them over again!

I judge all authors by Nora Roberts. She has a way to describe the scenes ,personalities, plots with exquisite skill. I am always regretting when the books end. Her research in all her novels are on point. Thank you for allowing me to read such novels. As a daughter of a mother with an eclectic library over over 2000 hardbacks with no restrictions what I could read. I traveled history, the world and alien worlds and read constantly. Thank you!😍

Despite all the positive reviews, and I am in the minority here, I regret spending my hard-earned money on this set. I have read many, many Nora Roberts and JD Robb novels and have loved the vast majority of them. But Ms. Roberts' romances are based on a formula and some of them, like Vision in White, feel like they are generated by a computer. I could not finish the first book, so I cannot speak of the last 3 books, but Vision for me felt flat and tw0-dimensional. I did not feel the romance or the chemistry between the main characters. The book spent most of the time going into great detail about wedding photography which I was not interested in. Sorry but I gave up on it.

This series is very enjoyable, and the narrator does a great job. I do think the insistence on sharing extremely intimate details among the four friends, and refusing to allow each other time to process difficult events before discussing and analyzing with the others, to be a little off putting. The four friends run a wedding planning business, so the constant wedding planning details are to be expected, but it does remind me how much the trivial emphasis on having a "fun" and crazy expensive wedding instead of planning for a marriage is a little pathetic to watch (especially for people who thinks it gives them license to be a bridezilla - anyone who is stupid enough to actually marry someone who acts like that while planning for a wedding has fully been warned about the true character of the person they are marrying). And at least two of the female leads have arguments with other characters in which they dramatically insist on stating only their own point of view, storm off without listening to the other person (causing much unnecessary angst) or giving them a chance to clear up the misunderstanding, and then the book gets resolved within minutes. That kind of behavior is one of my biggest personal pet peeves, so it's a little frustrating - hence the four stars instead of five. Overall, these stories are entertaining, though, with good friendships and none of the ridiculous falling in love after two days without actually knowing the person - I really like how the long term friendships, realistic responsibilities, and work ethic are emphasized. The main characters are all likeable and have compelling stories - they seem like people we already know and like.

I absolutely love this series! The concept behind the books is amazing! I love these four friends and their love interests. I find reading these books is like watching a favorite movie over and over - I continue to go back to them!Nora Roberts has created a quartet of friends that you want to know and be friends with. Though the stories are predictable they are lovely and draw you in from the beginning, holding you until the end.They are each different, but compliment one another beautifully! And the men - well, they are all swoon worthy in their own ways, but what makes them so lovable is their dedication not only to the women they are in love with, but the women they love!

One of my top 3 favorite Nora Roberts book series. The Bride Quartet is a series of 4 individual but related and intertwined books about a group of best friends who form a wedding consulting and venue business, including photography, floral, and bakery. Sweet, funny, and ingeniously well thought out storylines that have the reader falling in love right alongside of Mac and Carter, Emma and Jack, Laurel and Delaney, and Parker and Malcolm.

I think ive read this series at least 15 times now. Since moving into my own home I'm collecting Nora Roberts books as myself and my mother are obsessed

One of many talking books. We buy them to use in the car, they are especially good for long journeys. Helped pass the time for our recent 6 hour each way drive on holiday up to Scotland & back.

Havent heard yet bu t I love Nora Roberts books

I read these books when they came out as I am a devoted Nora fan. Then recently a friend gave me the pocket books, and I decided to read them again, and I am I glad I did. This series is Nora at her most romantic, funny, and above all sexy. Thank you Nora for your skill at making these women and their men so real, and likeable.
