out of season fruit
had this before, local store were selling it very reasonable cost, i ate 2 cans a week!

Perfectly acceptable if you can't get fresh...
Have been into crumbles and pies lately, and could get fresh rhubarb to put in with my apple, so tried these tins and they're fine, a good substitute for the fresh. Made both lovely crumbles and pies.

Princess, rhubarb
They’ve got a very short sale by date May 2024 I would’ve thought they would’ve had a longer sell by date considering they were £4.10. I haven’t used them yet so I’m hoping when I open them but the rhubarb is alright inside as the day is so short

Tinned rhubarb
This will make me a rhubarb tart. Extremely good value, cheaper than supermarket. Being 'Princes' the quality will be A1.
