Utterly unfit for purpose
I had such high hopes for this stand. It is exactly what I needed. I waited ages until I found some available in Europe and finally took the plunge.Unfortunately on arrival it was clear that corners have been cut. Each socket is held onto the base with three tack welds that even I (not a welder) can see are really poorly done. I don’t know what happened to the big heavy box section that is pictured on the packaging but it seems an update has been driven entirely by cost savings here. The end result of this is that once the mic stand is inserted, the slightest wobble at the top makes big moves at the base, instantly cracking the welds and failure soon follows. The whole socket pops out of the base plate, sending the stand to the floor. I wouldn’t use this to hold a cheap and bomb-proof SM58, let alone a guitar hanger as is so often advertised as a use for this product. It’s clear on inspecting the broken parts that in addition to the welds being terrible, they are applied AFTER painting. I can’t fathom it. There are also no welds on the top side so nothing to prevent the flex that leads to failure. The sticker on the base says ‘Made in China’ and I am not one to draw conclusions, but sadly in this case it shows.Do not buy this or it will break something you care about.

Best mic stand for pedals.
This mic stand is so unique and awesome. Not only is it a space saver but it removes the chance of people tripping over the stand legs. It's so secure, I love it. As good as this thing is...adding the optional guitar stands just takes it over the top. It is such a pleasure to use thing product. As a solo musician with a busy schedule I can say it's perfect for any guitarist/singer using a pedal board.

No more chipped teeth !
Playing venues with no stage is a hazard. Thanks to this stand, there is no more boom protruding onto the dance floor and the extra space for my guitar pedals is super.

The stand you didn't know you needed!
Tired of a cluttered front-line on stage? Wondering how to get rid of all those black tubes? this is it!Pedalboard or simple multi-FX fits right on top of the base, which is nice and heavy. The stand mounts on one of three M20 fittings, so it can be centered or placed off to one side, and they sell other attachments to use on these! I plan to add an M20 speaker pole and laptop stand for Live Band Karaoke nights! The hinge in the stand allows for a comfortable Mic placement without needing a separate boom arm! But it packs up like a straight stand!!I've picked up two of these so far and might add a third so every one of my band members can have one and the front of the stage will be so clean.

Fantastic
It's a great stand. I put velcro on it and attached my pedals that way. Bought the guitar stand too which is fantastic.

Great for use on thight stages, but could be taller
this is a great solution for tight stages because there are no feet for people to trip on and no booms sticking out for people to have to walk around, back into etc. Great for tight spaces. The only problem is it does not go high enough. Since you have to bend it towards you on the hinge to get separation from the stand so you aren't standing ON your pedalboard, the microphone ends up being lower. I am 6'1", and even though I have it extended as far up as it goes, I still have to bend down a bit to sing into the mic.
