Honestly I can't say enough good things about this cam! I use it for monitoring my cats while I'm gone. And I love the fact it has motion detection that actually works as well as 2way talk! All the features it offers are awesome. I'm purchasing 2more one for my room and a friend. The picture quality is clear and I love the zoom feature as well as the night vision..it's as clear as day just in black and white or more like gray and white I also love the rotation factor and I can use it while out of town with no issues.. and the kicker there's an alarm setting !!! You can't beat the quality you get for the price honestly.

The Tovendor 1080P Security Home Camera setup quickly and easily. Although the vendor offered a direct contact number, with a standing offer of help, did not require the help. The price was very reasonable, the quality is as good as many cameras like it, that I have used.

Great indoor cameras for remote surveillance. Picture quality is very good, and the installation using the app was straightforward and quick. P/T/Z functions work well. Motion detection is very basic, no means of masking areas to exclude from sensing, sensitivity adjustments were adequate, but the motion tracking left a little to be desired. The cameras would “track” changes in lighting (clouds changing the light coming in a window would cause the camera to focus on the window). Also, the camera had difficulty deciding what to focus on in night vision mode — reflections from the infrared LEDS would cause the camera motion tracking to get confused. The most important deficiency in my mind is related to the motion tracking: the camera does not return to a predefined “home” view; it remains wherever it lost the last thing it was tracking. For this very disappointing reason, I had to forego that feature. The app works well and offers a variety of useful features and settings. The cameras will locally store video if you install microSD cards, which I did, and the app makes it easy to pull up and play or save any video the camera has captured. Overall, I found these cameras extremely easy to install and set up, and motion tracking aside, I’m very happy with the quality of construction and the consistent operation so far.

They start out working just fine and eventually they stop working. I bought 3 of these cameras and they all have stopped working.

Motion and sound detection works great. Have to insert micro SD card to use cloud recording, as SD works as cacheing storage, than it sends to cloud, but doesn't tested it with SD yet.Upd: downgraded from 5 to 3 stars because cloud service doesn't work most of the time. If you need a big headache with it - you can go and purchase their cloud service... The advantage was downloading videos where motion detected - but now I have to download 30 min. videos from micro SD card and trim them because of cloud failure.

1st set up was a little tricky but eventually figured it out. Was abke to view the stream from anywhere i was. But, when i moved the cam to the bedroom it wouldn't allow me to watch the cam unless in proximity of the network which was fine however for those not using as a baby monitor could be annoying as to the capabilities most people look for is being able to view their cam when they are away.

Now, I want to start off with saying that I can't speak for as to how this camera works when it's connected to the ethernet cable. My router is in a completely different room from where I want to use the camera, so I don't have the ability to attach the ethernet cable that way. If it were attached, I'm sure the function of the camera itself would be much better.I bought this camera (and granted, I wasn't expecting much for the price), and it was super easy to set up - for which I'm grateful. I think the whole process took less than 5 minutes. And while I was setting it up, the camera quality was amazing. Sitting close to the router, the camera transmitted the video and was even in color.Now, I bought the camera because I recently purchased a new reptile, and I wanted to be sure she was eating. Well, in order to do that - I figured the most effective way would be to set up a camera that would record when motion was detected and then I wouldn't have to worry so much about the lizard eating. But I want to point out that if you get the camera ANY reasonable distance away from the main router, it starts to glitch and buffer and the little white lines show up across the screen. Which pretty much makes it useless to me since I can neither move the router closer, nor move my reptile enclosure. (I also want to point out that the distance I have the camera from the router isn't all that much, and should still adequately work).Some might say it has to do with my internet, but I have high speed internet that has NEVER had a problem before, regardless of where I'm at within the house and regardless of which electronic device I'm using to connect to the wifi. I've even tried troubleshooting and restarting and resetting the camera...and I still get the same result.Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with this product. I bought it because it had nice reviews and I didn't see anything mentioned about how the camera needed to remain close to the router in order to work effectively. Otherwise I would have gone with a different camera.The two way audio does work. Night vision seems to be fine. And the picture is clear after it's been buffering for a minute or two and right before it freezes again. It seems like when I took the camera away from the router it only wants to show up in black and white, which is a bit disappointing, but I can deal with that.I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does work really well when close to the router. But I feel like that should be something noted somewhere in the description, because now I'm quite frustrated. And I'm not going to waste even more money sending the product back.

DO NOT follow the instructions from the manual that came with the camera, instead use the one that is listed on item description found on Amazon. I was ready to return after many failed attempts in trying to get operational and connected, but upon stumbling onto the instructions on the product description, I'm proud to say that it only took one attempt to get it going. As for the camera, good visual and sound, though there is some lag when the subject moves too fast. Otherwise, for the money this is excellent value. Hard to go wrong on this one if you're looking for an IP camera.
