I have been using this product for a few years now and I absolutely love it. I have extremely oily skin with what used to be large pores. This product has made my pores disappear and gives my very oily face a matte finish that lasts 12 plus hours !!! I couldn't be happier with it. I don't have to wear makeup anymore !!! This product is not meant to cover imperfections but does provide very slight coverage. My cheeks can get red and this minimizes the redness some. But more importantly it gives my face a lasting matte finish and got rid of my large pores !!! Did I mention that !! There is a clear liquid that will not blend very well with the light foundation colored product but if you rub your fingers together enough it blends. When I first tried the product I would disguard as much of this liquid as possible but soon discovered it was necessary for the product to apply well to your face. Without it the foundation colored product won't blend smoothly onto your face. It will clump, and be dry. To get rid of some some of the clear liquid though I put the product on a paper towel first and then my fingers and then my face. The extra step is well worth it. L'Oréal used to make a foundation called casemere perfect. It was discontinued years ago and was the only makeup that gave me a lasting matte finish. If you used and liked that you will like this. This is very similar to it but not as drying to your face. I would not advise using this with makeup though. I think it is best by itself over your moisturizer. This product does rub off easily so I suggest dressing before applying.

This is awful, just awful! I cannot believe I bought this, and I should have trusted the other reviews! If I could give negative stars for this, I would. First, it came super separated, and no matter how much shaking you do, it won't mix back together. I tried squeezing some of the water out, and it was soooo gross. Second, when it finally comes out, it is an ugly gross paste-like substance that stinks and looks like ground pink salmon. Third, I actually dared to put it on my face! And all things considering, I thought that was a huge risk. When I first put on my freshly cleaned face, it had a mattifying effect.....an effect that lasted less than five minutes. I know because I counted, and then something gross happened. The matte look turned into a watery shiny gross mess on my face...as in, the product continued to separate itself while on my skin! I was horrified. And I was super embarrassed to have actually paid for this stupid, pathetic excuse for a facial product! Note: I actually tried to use this more than once to prove to myself I wasn't crazy. So people, don't buy this. Read the other reviews....and quite frankly, I wonder about the good ones. Make sure the reviews you are reading are actually verified. If you are looking for a better product, try Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. You can easily find it on Amazon or in stores. It can be put on bare skin or under makeup as a primer. I use it on bare skin, and it works great. Use only a super small dab for each facial region. A little goes a long way, so the tube lasts a long time. It is also super easy to smooth over skin and is very soft.

I actually love this stuff. I totally agree with the weird oily-watery extra that has to be squeezed out, (truly, what is with that?), but what's left is fantastic, soft "spackle" that goes on smooth and makes my skin velvety soft. I have super-crazy oily skin and large pores, especially on my nose. I'm not talking delicate-little-bit-shiny-let-me-make-a-big-deal kind of oily. I mean OILY, wipe with a tissue throughout the day kind of oily. This product does help with that. I still get oily, but I do think it lends a matte finish that decreases the degree of oil and shine for several hours. And oh my goodness - velvety texture! Even by the end of a long day, my skin is still really soft. Now, does it reduce pore size? I would say definitely not, cause I'm just not sure any product is really going to do that and my large pores still look large. I thin If you have pre-existing perfect tiny pores, this would give an "airbrush" kind of effect. For me, the matte finish and texture does give the appearance of smoothing things out and gives a nice base on which to apply powder. This, however, has no power to actually reduce pore size. I do not understand why they would encourage you to wear this at night, except to sell more product. Please, wash your face before bed. This product won't be for everyone, but I really like it and am stocking up before I can't find it anymore. (In this same purchase, I also bought the Baby Skin Pore Eraser by Mabelline, based on another review. It's also a fine product, provides matte finish, is thinner and not tinted. I prefer the L'Oreal product, personally.

This is the best pore reducer cream ever.....and I've tried many. I have been using it for years, unfortunately it has been discontinued in stores. Thank you Amazon !!!!

It was good for the first 2 uses but then it separated into clear liquid and brown cream. Dont buy this, save your money .

product was full of water and clumps of grimy foundation. never buy again. want money back.

It works perfectly for me ! Yes ... I must shake the content ... But once I apply it, it works wonders! I love this product! It gave me great smooth results.
