Some Call it a 'Casual' Dress Shirt. We Call it a Shirt Without Attitude. A rising trend, whether you call it 'Banded', 'Mandarin', 'Peasant Collar', or 'Indo Pak Style', these shirts have surged in popularity in recent years. The blend of versatility and comfort these shirts offer, continues to be recognized by men in increasing numbers, and it doesn't look like that will stop any time soon. Regarding work casual attire, first the tie went the way of the dodo, and then the collar followed. The greatest appeal of the banded collar style is that it presents a polished and refined appearance, while omitting the feeling of a stiff collar against your neck. As a whole, these shirts provide a more comfortable, yet viable alternative to the standard turn down collar dress shirt. High Style at a Great Value. With such fine quality at a surprisingly affordable price, why not indulge in a little variety buy this versatile shirt in a few different colors?

great looking shirt that fits me perfectly and makes my ...
Few people on the planet will fit any shirt 'off the shelf" (neck, torso length, sleeves, girth) , so I buy a size slightly larger in those aspects and have mine tailored after it arrives ($20), so with the shirt costing around $20, I've spent $40 on a custom-tailored, great looking shirt that fits me perfectly and makes my awkward bits look like part of the plan. It seems to be well made and the design is exactly to my taste. I bought a black one and a brown one, the material is thin, but like silk, not like a thin t-shirt. I have no negatives to say about the shirt and am going to buy a couple more.

"Good deal"
I was very reluctant to purchase a shirt that was priced under $20.00 and made in China but, I like the shirt. I honestly Couldn't rate it five stars since I don't know how it will hold up after a few washings. For me I found the fit to be just right. At 6'-1" 215 lbs with an athletic build I like my shirts to be somewhat "fitted". Obviously sizes vary between different makers but I agree with other reviewers that this F.L brand appears to be closer to accurate than others. I also ordered the other Amazon banded collar brand "T_ _" where many reviewers warned to "order one size larger than you needed". They were correct. I ordered one size larger and it was just right.

Check Shirts You Already Own And Like, Then Order That Same Size
Instead of using the size chart online, I picked a dress shirt I already owned and picked the same size 17 1/2 Neck, 34-35 Sleeves. The neck fits perfect, not tight, not loose. I am a swimmer and a diver. I swim more than a mile every other day. Lots of upper chest movement and work for this frog. I have a 31-32 waist, 47 inch chest, 17 1/2 inch neck. The chest and sleeves are perfect and very comfortable. The area around the abdomen and waist are baggy, but that is to be expected, I can tuck that in back. You can get it tailored, but I am going cowboy style to a wedding, in jeans and a black sport coat and black boots, so I want it with some room to move around like my Daddy's get up (he was a real cowboy from Big Springs Texas) not all tight around the abs. The fabric is very nice, not very thin, but just right. My wife took a look at it and said, she will just wash it, but dry it only on the clothes line. This is a pretty good shirt.

price and looks
Shirt washed well and came out fairly wrinkle free. Touch up with an iron took very little time. Could have been worn without ironing if you are not overly fussy. Comfortable. A lot of treads hanging loose at seams, etc., but all slipped off easily and were not integral to the shirt holding together or not. For price well worth the inconvenience. Finally, fabric is not high but feels very nice. Bought two of these shirts and one had a couple spots where the fabric and stiching were not perfect. Again, still worth the price. We were at a wedding and therefore not the ones under the spotlight! Probably a shirt that may never be worn again or at most once or twice. (review written by wife:)

They are great. Very comfortable
I have two of these shirts. They are great. Very comfortable. The thing to keep and eye out for is possible rust stains from the straight pins used to hold the shirt in place in the packaging. The stains are pretty small of course, but on the khaki shirt, they were noticeable on the shoulders. The ones around the waist were not as big and got tucked in. I did not see stains on my red shirt. Other than that, the shirts themselves are great. The material is very soft, and the fit is excellent. I am going to get at least one more, but now I know to look at all the pins in the packaging.

A Good Shirt...So Far
Fit as expected. I knew it was going to be a bit close (snug, not tight) around the middle for me (something that I am addressing...slowly) but, it still feels comfortable. The material is good, seams seem strong, and the colour spot on (seems a satin black, but I'm not a reliable source for colour information). It says dry clean only, but I saw that after I tossed it in the washer ... I'll see how it holds up, especially since my washer has a tendency to destroy weak seams and stitching. Initial impressions: I'm satisfied, I'll be getting more over time.20170403: So, I just received my third shirt. This one is actually labelled Fortino Landi. The first 2 were labelled Daniel Ellissa (New York). This one is a smidgen bigger, and looser in the mids. But, the colour is more of a matte black. I prefer the satin black of the daniel ellissa. No dry cleaning label on this one though.

Medium? Really?
This shirt was WAY too big for a medium. It looked like a doctors smock on me. I have large button up dress shirts that fit more snug., but yet still couldn't button the neck button without strangulation. I'm not a big guy 5'8" 150lbs and the neck measurements were correct for me. Also the buttons on this shirt look like it would take wearing about three times before they start popping off. Disappointing. Returning

Collar Too Tight
The only "too small" part of this shirt was the collar, and I think I know why. My neck size is 16-16 1/2 inch. The shirt I ordered had this neck size, but the collar was very, very tight. I could hardly button the collar. I tried two other shirts--a Lands' End (16 inch) and Chaps (16-16 1/2 inch)--that fit fine. I measured the distance from the center of the collar button to the edge of the collar on the banded shirt and found it was 3/16 inch further away than on the Chaps shirt. I believe this makes the fit of the collar very tight. I plan to move the button over closer to edge of the collar. I also wear size 32/33 sleeves, but the 34/35 sleeves on the banded shirt fit fine.
