My dog engages in fence fighting & very protective & territorial. I tried a bark collar but the couple of times he wore it & it shocked him, anytime I would put it on him, he cowed in the back of his crate (that's his time out bad boy spot). I then tried a training collar which was much like the shock collar & again he just cowed but the unit was sold as extra small instead was only one size, extra large.After trying these other suggestions, there had to be a better way. The first few times, my Chiweenie kind of danced in a circle making little whining noises. After several minutes, he was up & playing like his old self.One nicer thing, if you have neighbors that seem to leave their dogs out & they bark a lot, this can work on chase mode; harder through a wood fence. However, I would NOT use it when you pet is with you, they might think they're doing something wrong.Take it from me, I have spent $30 on one collar & $40 on another which can't be returned. It is universal & what do you have to lose? If you don't like it, send it back.

I was amazed at how well it worked! I have 13, count'em 13, dogs, 9 of which are indoor dogs. They're good furbabies but they love to run to the door barking every time someone comes home or even just goes out to the yard and comes back in. It's a full minute of yelling be quiet and get down while they bark and jump on us out of control. I used the device once, JUST ONCE, and they learned that fast to not do it!!! And I didn't even have to hold the button down and hold it a long time. I barely tapped it for half of a split second! I wish I had found this years ago.

My dog acts like a wild crazy animal when I take him on walks. I would be so embarrassed when I walked him and we came in contact with another dog. He would go nuts snarling barking and lunging. He is a 28 pound Beagle Dachshund mix. When I use the electronic training tool I set it on train and hold the button down for a second and my dog calms down and listens to me when we come in contact with another dog. It is wonderful to use and it is only a high pitched sound that dogs hate.It switches his mindset from attack dog to obedient dog who will listen to me.

I am so impressed with this dog repeller/trainer, it works exactly like the ad says. We have a chug which is a chihuahua, pug mix and he is a very smart, sweet, loving dog, but not with strangers he will bark like crazy to other animals or people he don’t know. I bought a shock/vibration collar, but it didn’t get him to stop barking. Well let me tell you this hand held trainer is working wonders with my little Junior, as soon as he starts barking I press the button on the side and he turns his head, stops barking and runs to me. I love this thing lol. I also like that there is a light on it to use if your out in the dark.

OMG! I have six dogs. I have one whiner. He isn’t ever quiet and happy unless he is loose with the humans. On rainy days, he is separated to his kennel or behind a babygate on a tiled surface. He is never quite in either situation. I opened this package installed the batteries and aimed it at him and pushed the button with it on trainer mode. He backed away and got quite. He knew it was meant for him. The other dogs reacted slightly but didn’t seem to suffer any harm. I have used it three times for probably less that 10 seconds and have restored peace and quite in my house. I am very very happy with this purchase.

I mostly use this training device for the high pitch sound. I am not able to hear the sound at all. I use the sound when the dogs are misbehaving. I know for a fact that they hear it because they immediately stop what they were doing and put their ears down a little. For example, we used the sound to teach the dogs not to crowed the front door when opened. When they did happen to crowded the door and not listen to our commands, we played the sound. Now, all we have to do is stick out our hand and say no. The sound helped train them and they now know what not to do. I definitely wouldn't allow little kids to handle this product because anytime the button is pressed on the training mode, the dogs will hear it. Anyways, this product is very easy to handle and fits in my hand perfectly. This is definitely a helpful and effective way to help train the right behaviors for dogs.

Purchased in hopes that I could break our ferocious 17 pound Min-Pin from raising the roof every time another dog walked down the street, IT WORKS !Three sessions, 1 push of the button each, and he now rushes to the door, stands on his hind legs and growls, softly.No Barking.

I read reviews before purchasing, and thought I’d give it a try. Does not work. Directions were in broken English, but you can understand them. My dogs bark and I was hoping this would solve our problem. No luck here. Very disappointed.
