I love this tiny stapler got to have one that model has to be cheaper :-)

Very fussy stapler, should just work! Does not "fold" staple consistently and jams. Took it apart tonight to clear a jam and a thin little spring on the front bent, now it is trash. A stapler this expensive should be rock solid. Have messed up papers trying to staple and have had to reprint and try again. Very frustrating!!!!

Well then. Two hundred and fifty quid for a stapler.. Bonkers money of course. If you're really feeling flush El Casco will even sell you a pencil sharpener for three hundred and forty!Despite the ludicrous asking price, I really do appreciate objects like this. It's built like things used to be built, not how they are designed today. In other words, it's very solid, made from proper, sturdy materials, is hand fettled and will still be working fine in three hundred years time if looked after properly! Seriously, how many other goods on sale today can you truthfully say the same about? The design dates back to the 1930's, so it's more than just retro, it's an original.El Casco is a Spanish company, and this stapler is still entirely built by them in their Elgeta factory in the Basque Country. Originally they used to manufacture firearms, and their knowledge of creating efficient, reliable and sturdy mechanisms went into the design of their desk implements. My stapler has the same kind of crisp and precise feel as a revolver, and it makes me want to create words on paper to allow me the pleasure of interacting with such a beautifully realised implement. Using it can feel addictive. It even has a rotating turret to provide three different fold options for my staples, should I ever desire such a thing.One wonders how much longer these will be made, which is one reason I purchased mine. What is certain though is the sheer delight of ownership, and the huge soul and presence they posses. It would make an ideal gift for anyone who values craftsmanship, including yourself. Yes, it's a lot of money. Look around though and you ought to find one at a discounted price. For the money you do pay, you get more than just a superb and beautiful machine. It's similar to Ferrari ownership - you are investing in a design icon with soul and history. And sitting atop an office desk, this stapler certainly makes a statement that the owner has heft. It's also available in 24 carat gold plate by the way, if you feel so inclined. Personally, I find understatement far classier.

I've wanted one of these for a while. Don't get me wrong it is very expensive. But it is a stunning look piece of design and makes a tedious job, a thing of pleasure. This is to staplers, what Dyson is to vacuum cleaners.

This stapler broke within 2 months of use. I would not recommend it.

Normale Heftklammern verklemmen nie, gefärbte gelegentlich.Für mich persönlich u.a. eine Motivationshilfe im Büro.Die polierte Edelverchromung ist nicht mit Chrom anderer Hersteller zu vergleichen.Das kommt schon fast an Schweizer Uhren Qualität ran.Das ist kein unbrauchbarer Designer Modeartikel, wie von anderen höherpreisigen Herstellern.Wer sein vermutlich letztes Heftgerät sucht liegt damit richtig.

Dieser Hefter ist sowohl optisch, wie auch funktional ein ganz großer Wurf: schwer, tadellose Oberfläche, arbeitet präzise mit tollem Druckpunkt.Es handelt sich um das Original von El Casco - auf vielen anderen Seiten zahlt man gerne das Doppelte.
