A sturdy platform for older folks
This Cosco stepladder meets my need for a mobile ladder for mostly inside-the-house chores. As a certified geezer (meaning old), I can no longer access heavy items from shelves by reaching, so I have to elevate myself. The same with house repairs, both inside and out. What distinguishes this ladder from other 3-step ladders are (1) the frame features handrails for user stability and (2) a work tray to hold stuff. It feels secure to climb and does not wobble, which is great for working on overhead projects, such as cleaning or repairing light fixtures. Also, when working on walls, the step incline angle places you very close to the wall's surface. This stepladder should accommodate most jobs requiring ceiling access. It folds easily, has a carry-balance point and, when stored upright, takes up minimal storage space.

Handy Portable Stepstool/ladder
Sturdy and while not extremely light, (about 30 lbs.) is dependable and fills in for a ladder in many cases. I’m 76 and short and I can handle it with ease. Well-priced.

Sturdy step stool with a helpful tray
A substantial and well-built step stool. The step is wide with amble space to stand, easily reaching 9ft ceiling w/o stretching the arms. The project tray is big and useful, a must-have imo. Overall, a solid product and much better than my decade old stool also from Cosco.

Lightweight, Convenient, and Just the Right Height!
I recently purchased the Cosco Three Step Max Steel Work Platform, and it's hands down the best ladder I've ever owned. Its lightweight design is a game changer, making it incredibly easy to move around my home for various projects. The ease of use is another standout feature. Setting it up is a breeze, and it folds down just as effortlessly, making storage simple and space-efficient. This ladder provided me with the perfect height to tackle a project I had been putting off: painting my kitchen cabinets. The added height and stability made the task far less daunting and more efficient. One of the most significant advantages of this ladder is its sturdiness. Despite being very light, it feels safe and secure, which gave me extra confidence while working at height.Given my positive experience, I would definitely buy this ladder again. It's not just a tool but an essential aid for home maintenance and improvement projects. Whether it's painting, reaching high shelves, or changing light bulbs, this ladder has proven its worth in versatility and reliability. In conclusion, for anyone in need of a reliable, easy-to-use ladder that hits the mark in terms of height and portability, the Cosco Three Step Max Steel Work Platform is an excellent choice. It has made a noticeable difference in my DIY tasks and has become an indispensable tool in my home.

Very sturdy and safe, but feet stick out to the side and are trip hazards!
As with any ladder, the User should not lean too far to the side. (that would be the only reason for the wide feet, which are TRIP HAZARDS) Good platform for holding paint containers and tools. Folds easily. Heavy, but to be expected with this type of ladder. Cosco has been a dependable brand for 75(?) years!

Makes me feel safe when I am climbing on it......great ladder!
Well I cannot imagine what anyone would complain about. This is a very heavy duty sturdy step ladder. Easy to fold out, even easier to fold up with one hand no less, and the steps are nice and wide for standing on comfortably. You can hold on to the top bar while standing on the top step. I use this to climb in and out of my boat out in the driveway. The extra wide feet are nice and wide and sturdy so the legs do not sink into the ground. I can climb all the way to the top step, 30" high, and climb over the side of my boat while holding on the top bar of the ladder and I do not need to worry about falling. This ladder is heavy to carry, so i cart it back and forth in my wagon. I am a 55 yr old disabled woman, so I needed something I did not have to worry about getting injured on. The only thing, I did want to be able to carry it with me on the boat so i could use it at the docks, but it is too long folded, so i will need to get another one that has a 30" high top step that is shorter when folded. I do want to keep this one though. I like feeling safe when I am climbing in and out to clean the boat in the driveway.Oh by the way this ladder is rated to only 225 lbs and I weigh 214 and it does not have a problem at all with my weight.

4 Step Cosco Laddet
Great sturdy ladder with nice wide steps, very sturdy, the two side railings are great to steady yourself. I own two of these ladders. I have one in the basement and one in my one story condo. I am 77 years old and I have no problem climbing this ladder. I like the top step ledge to put tools or a bucket on. I’m short but with the 4 step I can reach my 8’ or 8-1/2’ ceilings. I can lift and open with ease but it is a-little heavy. I purchased this one as a gift because my son in law liked mine. Very easy to use and I can reach my ceiling fans, and fixtures to clean them.
